What are the greyhound whippets like has anyone reading had one? I thought collie crosses were more for coursing? saluki x mate for coursing........ I would get yourself a cur bud,........collie grey ,.....could add a bit of whip to the mix aswell....... you want something steady and biddable, which is easy too train and of course good rabbiting dogs ......

I know for sure that was my mistake a few years back, small firm mentality when your dealing with 50- 100 grand contracts.., it cost me and I know ultimately it was my fault... Lesson learnt and I try and cover my ass as much as possible now, the problem in the buildings is cash flow, if your on 30 day payments that's always stretched out to 45 if they can, then you've paid your labour and materials, they still haven't paid, threatening letter, legal maybe, now your on 60 plus days and the next set of bills are in... well the place couldn't of been that bad then,...........to me its common sense ,.......... you see what lengths people go too .,.........to rescue a terrier ,...........if a place is that bad ,..........then for the sake of one dig,........no one with any sense would risk it.......theres the real bad sandy red soil , the stuff what keeps collapsing inn ......once bitten twice shy.....but if you feel its worth the risk of a good tyke ,.then I will respect that decision........every dig is a risk for the terrier , but some places really are a must avoid...........or end up with a dead oneyou h

the old smaller type fox hounds are tougher than the modern (show) hounds of today,.........the old ones draw anywhere and are great hounds for the right terrain ........bit like the welsh fox hounds........ the old English are hard too beat......but for lurcher work pre ban doing foxes ,..........well that's another debate......
