    Take three/four pheasants, skin them ,chop legs off and the head (leaving plenty of neck) , I use cocks as theres more meat on the breast...........slice the breast off and some bits off the legs..... (the left overs you can portion up or feed whole to the dogs, I take the crop out ,........wont hurt the dogs anyway) get some olive oil in the pan / plate and let it get nice and hot,......dice your pheasant meat and place in too the pan / plate and let it golden off nicely , stirring it about as you go ,........should take about five mins...... take half a swede and chop up into nice small

    there will be no direct answer too this question ,.......some terriers get better with every dig, some slower , some wont , some will,.......some start early , some late,.....every dog is different... every owner is different , some will wait , some wont,...... so every answer will be different........what I will say is after 18-24 months you will know if a terrier is going to be up too your own standard ,......and with experience comes the number of digs and the number of digs is a wiser dog ...... some young dogs will work like they been doing it for years , some wont...... so the number
