  1. Cheers Bulldoug You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. When i get my SBT in what i call ' Good shape ' she looks great ( Imo ) but doesn't perform at her best. She needs to carry a little weight to burn off and by the end of the day / night / weekend whatever i'm doing she looks skinny ? Maybe its all in their Gene's and there's nothing i can really do to improve their shape ? But that's a whole other topic Anyhow here are the pics as promised. I don't think they're in bad shape but i'm just starting a 6 week training and fitness ' keep ' with them and asked the original question to s
  2. Thanks everyone for your positive replies The reason i'm wanting to put some weight on is as soon as i work the dogs they start to look really thin, no matter what i feed them.I don't want to bulk them up, just stop them imo looking too thin. I have always fed twice a day as i feel the dogs get more out of it than just once a day. The reason i feed porridge is that a long while ago i spoke to my vet and he said feeding a couple of spoons every couple of days with their kibble will put weight on a dog without fail ? It has worked for me hence i know of this method. Plus i feed a very good kibb
  3. Now the season is coming up i'm about to start putting some decent time into the dogs to get them semi ready for fun and games. When my 3 start to have time put into them i find it very hard to keep the weight on so i give them more food ( Mainly a bit more barf with there kibble ) along with porridge to keep them up to scratch. I've heard people use all sorts of things to keep weight / put weight on a dog just wondered what if anything others use or even if they have this with there dogs ? Cheers blackstaff
  4. Road work to me is dogs in harness's and around 5 mile walk pulling all the way. Works a whole different set of muscles compared to trotting or running behind a car. Jmho folks

the artex is easy, its the paint that is the twat, but if you get it at the right time with the steamer it comes off like chewing gum.

  15. I HAD to have one of my dogs dew claws removed a couple of months ago so decided whilst he was out to have both removed. I was thinking it would be around the £200 mark as had them taken out of my bitch a couple of years ago and it was about £150. How wrong could i of been, they charged £340 Will be defo getting prices IF they ever need op's again.
  16. I feed ' Barking Heads ' all year round as a kibble along with barf. The more work they do the more bark i give, whether it be added to their kibble or on its on. Not everyone's cup of t but it works for my 3
