    I,ve had a mk1 rapid for must be nearly 10 years and nearly had to sell it a little while back, i would have been gutted if it had sold they are a proper solid work horse..Bought and sold a lot of guns but the rapid feels right for me..

    Used to do a lot of climbing as a kid for egg collection,walking out the arms of pylons even sitting on the top of the things i would shit myself climbing up em now..nearly lost a mate as a kid aswell climbing over a bridge of a railway track he fell and hit the overhead wires spent months in billericay burns unit everything melted to him...if my kids done half of what i done i,d be a nervous wreck

    I think carraghs gem has hit the nail on the head mate, things are tight for most at the minute including me..If things were different i would probably have as many as paulus but until then i,ll keep enjoying your threads and hope you don,t knock it on the head completely ,keep your chin up mate not a lot happening in most trades

    It depends what you want it for, very bright torch but more of a flood than spot also i don,t think the batteries last long enough and you can,t keep it on the high setting for to long.

    I think going out with more than two of you is a waste of time if the game is pretty scarce,90% of the time i go alone just make sure i,ve got the phone with me for any emergencies

    I don,t disbelieve what your saying si as a lot of other people are saying it reaches them distances aswell it might have been due to the scope the fella was using or it may maybe they have modified it since then,who knows

    Going back a couple of year ago when they had their stall at the midland game fair a few of us went up to have a look at them, a lad from the stall showed us them in the evening i walked 200 yards into the field and no-one in the group i was with was impressed with the result, have they changed anything on the unit since then??

    I,ve been with the same company for a few years now i pay £159 a year rifles and shotguns included cheap as f**k.

    Done the same got tiablo a9 fitted with aspherical lense cost a good few quid, the recoil torch from china i was getting 2 for £20 and theres not a lot between them other than price

    I think theres different strains of mixy ,sometimes it wipes loads out other times barely touches em.
