Very true, I got my yukon for 350 second hand although I am embarassed to say that it hasnt had much use as a scope more a spotting scope, but hopefully i will try it out properly soon.

I originally meant that there is no need to use a dog as you can trap them and shoot them, I didnt say that it would be a fair match for a dog just that i reckon if it latched on it would take a chunk out of its nose as they are viscious barstards.

seriously though, if you are in a job like that surely you would have some compassion and go beyond the call of duty in a situation like that, thats disgraceful i was a dog warden, but i aint going on a 50 mile round trip to go and pick someones dog up what they couldnt keep in its own place for nothing, council wouldnt pay for out of hours, if they dont say i can pick it up then i aint insured on the van, cause its not working hours and i aint getting 6 points for that Not moaning at you in particular but it's really just not right, it's down to the authority to give more po

40000 :laugh: you might be better getting a years no claims then going for a defender mate, good luck though mate am 17 and got insured on my landy 110 for 430 . and for me fiesta van it was 1300 lol Please please please tell me how you got it and what insurance policy, I keep hearing people say they get it cheaply but how?

try being bloody 17 , i am learning to drive at the moment and looking at insurance and they want 6 grand plus, i have seen quotes of up to 40,000. Hopefully i will be able to find some decent insurance for a defender, like van or commercial insurance.

dont be mean about immagrants, just because they fleece this country. The goverment are making cut-backs every where else so why the bloody hell should we provide free child care for their kids when british people will probably have to pay. Are you going to be using it mainly on road or off? I know a ranger who had one for 60k then it died but it was only used off road and it got battered, he went to a defender.
