    Thanks for the replys so far. She did this Saturday lunch time ish. By Monday morning all the swelling had gone and the foot back to normal. If this was ligament damage or a fracture do you think the swelling would of gone down so fast or have I maybe got lucky and she's just smacked it on a rock/going through a hedge? Still just on short lead walks and 15 minutes stood in the river 2 or 3 times a day

    My bitch disappeared after a run today, turned up half an hour or so later holding her foot up. Straight in the car and back home... by the time we got home it had swelled up. She was in the vets within three hours or so, jab and a 7 day course of metacam. Absolutely gutted as it was our first proper day out of the season! What exactly is going on inside a knocked up toe??? I know it's possible you fractured, is that a better case scenario than ligament damage?     Out of curiosity logun, what made you go back this way with Kim rather than to another coursing dog like razor? Was the bitch out of him not exactly what you were looking for... or was the intention for her to put fresh blood in to your line? I've been told she is a very decent animal!

    Razor has only been to a handful of birches, his owner is still in touch with most, if not all. I'm sure if you found out the sires dam,I could tell you if it's from razor. If it is you will have some fun ?

    Cheers baz, she was a decent type, still gutted about loosing her fairly young but that's life! I haven't seen that much of snoops pup running davey, i didn't get out much last season but fook me can it whinge! ?

    I lost her due to cancer at the start of last season unfortunately but yes it was gonna be my plan to take a litter of her

    Had the privilege of seeing razor run for a good six seasons, the best and most consistent hare killer iv seen. Routed out a old phone with loads of pictures of him on but the thing won't turn on! I'll be sorry to see him go!

    I had my old saluki x bitch scanned at the local vets, they said deffinatly four, possibly five pups. She dropped 12!

    Can't recommend these enough and at £45 quid you can stick it in a draw and forget about it once your sorted.

    Saw razor run twice a week for five years, he was the real deal. Don't think there is any footage of him but I could be wrong. I bred the first litter out of razor and kept a bitch back who I unfortunately lost last October at 5 years old. I rated her very highly and she left a big space to fill. A few months ago I was kindly gifted a Romeo x floss pup who is now 11 months old. An absolute pain in the arse but I like her. We'll see what next season brings!
