  1. permission isnt a problem, between me and my uncle we got well. in excess of 7000acres (not all with bunnies but most do)
  2. Sorry to be soo nieve....but what it bushing.... i presume its walking up rabbit out of bushes??? also my permision is mainly smallish feilds or along or just in side woodland (its open woods if you knoe what i mean i.e not thick with trees/shrubs) their are a few drainage ditches as well which sometimes hold them. all i want it for is ferreting, bit of lamping and bit of day time walkin up.
  3. thought this thread was about that new drink Robinson's had brought out.
  4. It may have been said before but i really really cannot stand the loading mechanism on the HW100, if it were a bolt and regulated it would be a corker of a gun especially with the removable air tank. but other than that the S type.
  5. A clear case that a little informtion is dangerous...I mean his idea of ferreting being like baiting a bear...come on is their a bit where we can leave our "thoughts and feelings" about that gem??? i thinkk we would all express our thought and feelings.
  6. right..ok. anyway aaron, i think youd be best giving it away with just postage paid, or just bin it or keep it as spared.
  7. Confused....he said it wasent zeroed....i thought you was talkin bout the fuzziness to do with zero. misunderstanding. and please dont use my age as some kind of crude insult.
  8. try putting an add in a small holders magazine or something along those lines.
  9. they are fantastic clothes so warm, but still can wear wear the trouser in summer with out boiling, and waterproof never get wet.
  10. Right??!! confused. a zeroed scope is to do with where the pellet will hit, not if its fuzzy or not. fuzzy is proberly to do with the eye releif being out or just a poor quality scope....but as long as you can see through it it will do its job i spose. time someone else did their research...
  11. mate, how long did it blow up after getting it? the reason i ask is coz our Hitachi did and my dad read up and it turns out that upto seven years the company is liable, its all about "statouary righrts" so read up on them mate coz we got a free tele out of it.
  12. no i have a feeling they named a rimfire and an airrifle supersport. not sure but i know they sell the guns cheap like £30, couldnt you but on for spares??? or ask if they would sell you just the magazine??
  13. surely the shop selling you then rifle will chuck in a box of eleys or whatever with the rifle, if not just ask and they better had.
  14. Yh i know they are pests but dont seem right to shoot and leave those lil goslings, just wait till they procreate...more fun fo you.
  15. i've used just the lamp without the filter as then its easier to see them if they are looking aaway from you (get one in the back of the nogging)
  16. Cant believe you still got this, lovely lookin gun.
  17. Last year they did this, it was good, but not as good as the terrier racing...it just ended up in a massive scrap between them all. saw that one comin tho.
  18. Dont take this the wrong way but have you tried looking down the bore at different angles as sometimes you look right down and just see a smooth bore but at a different angle you can see the rifling. maybe its something to do with the scope or mounts i had that with a cheap SMK scoope changed the crosshairs every shot, needless to say i was confused as i was getting good groups ith iron sight but missing the board with the scope....it was a big board too.
  19. CHEAP! i brought my RWS excalibre (Oiled walnut stock), 8 shot, pump, scope (hawke 3-9x50ir) case and pellets for £320.oh and a shite silencer but i brought a better one something like a S/h BSA cometa or as the lad says a lighning. just avoid SMK like the plague. Go second hand springer and you'll get alot more for your hard earned moneys.
  20. well said scuba. A bloke suposedly clued up on air rifles told me that a pellet is a pellet and he had some jank SMK pellets, they werent even circularand each pellet looked different unlike the accupells and Air arms diablo, each one tin after tin look exactly the same.
  21. stirrup pumps are fine, i top mine up after each session as it also helps keep seals in good condition, when i first got the tank was empty but no great hardship just bit of perspiration and perseverance is all thats needed. all id say is get logun or weirach silencer they are well worth the money.
  22. sorry to hear that. insurance i think is a must with working dogs as they are for ever getting into mischeif, atb
  23. IMHO i think everyone should start with a spring gun, firstly they are cheap, powerful, reliable,no need for expensive accsesories (charging equip), and myself and other agree that spring guns make you a better shot, than if you start with a pre charged. the only disadvantage to them is thats they recoil a bit, bit louder (but if you shoot the thing you aiming at they wont mind) and thats all i can think of.
