  5. Went down to the fishery to have a quick gander at what our work parties had acheived, when as i was walking back another member of the fishery (i didnt know him from name) ran up and tapped me on the shoulder, asking if i was the one that shoots and what not. He told me that he has a livery yard (some 8 acres) that is i quote "plague with rabbits" and if i could do anything about them....i quickly obliged, especially as its 10 mins down the road. Turns out the farmer i got some permission pigeon shooting at the beginning of the year told this feller about myself. hopefully have a look

  14. i thinik your best bet would be get your mitts on a phew pallet boards nail them up in to the shape you want, drape a cheap ex army camo net over the top and pile as much vegetation on and around and intergrate it with the net. make sure you build it around you shootin position.
  15. Im so glad to see its not just me who has a constant eye out for wood. when building mine i found a load of scrap ply wood and after asking i was allowed to take the lot, so piled in on end on a skate board an wheeled it home. then we got pulled and they was rather perplexed by a sheet of ply wood rolling up the hill.
  16. Not being funny but...surely these people came to owner there ferrets by someone breeding them? I think your completely right; as long as you can home them and it wont affect the health of the jill then go for it, tbh if i bred ferrets i wouldnt even be fussed if they went to working homes or not as long as they were looked after.
  17. The thing i would say about karate chopping a rabbit is... lil while ago, i went out ferreting with my mate, p***y (nickname for reasons you can guess), and when a rabbit bolted he grabbed it went to karate chop it and the rabbit moved, didnt it and he ended up karte chopping a old ww2 gun implacment made of concrete...no even jackie chan would have problems cracking that. ironic thing is that the first time ive seen a rabbit move rather than just give up when you grab them. i use a old ebony walking stick chopped down to clump em, or back of machete across the back of the head or just the
