  1. Hi, mate. As has been said, the rams are always under pressure even at rest. If it's leaking, it'll leak all the time and you'll very quickly lose power. Gun shop, crono. Only answer really. Cheers.
  2. Thanks for proveing my point. PERFECT conditions, set range, no wind and the way the shots were hitting, if that's sub FAC, I'll eat my own sh*t. Those conditions don't happen in the field. "Please Mr Rabbit, just sit still while I take a few sighting shots". Come on.... It's not a pi**ing contest. Cheers. aiming three feet to the left at the 55 mark three rabbits inarow any good? lolol.. rarely rarely do you get them days with no wind, infact most people will feel strange as though somethings up when shooting in no wind at all lol... hours of practace for wind shooting
  3. Forgot to ask. What the hell is that thing in the pic?? Cheers.
  4. Is this some kind of backlash, or what? Come on, RS, what's the deal? Cheers.
  5. adeyhawk1970 has a 52 for sale mate or at least he did last month £170 posted Thanks, mate. I contacted Adey a while back but I'd just miised it. Arse!! Sorting a deal with a lad now. Thanks 'Bitch'! Cheers, mate. Andy.
  6. What you said was 'this would drop a rabbit with a head shot'. That's not the point is it? So what are you saying exactly? The whole point of this is what's the effective killing range of a sub FAC airgun, not what range you might be able to maybe hit a pop bottle. Do you understand now, or am I being a little too obtuse for you? Cheers.
  7. After seeing the videos on youtube, we decided to try it for ourselfs. Between a 100-110Yrds shooting of the Bi-pod with this: It was grouping at around 3 Inch and penetrating a wooden post aprox 5-8mm this was with around 24" hold over and a .177 pellet in still conditions, IMO this would drop a rabbit with a headshot Belive what you like and rip me as much as you want Ok. The clip said .177 HW100. The ammo shown was all heavy .22. Yes?? So you'd be happy shooting at live targets at 100 yards with a 3 inch group and stuff all impact?? It's not a f*****g p******
  8. Thanks for proveing my point. PERFECT conditions, set range, no wind and the way the shots were hitting, if that's sub FAC, I'll eat my own sh*t. Those conditions don't happen in the field. 9. May well have been, but not like this!! Cheers.
  10. Really though, the whole point of all this is yes, maybe a truly first class shot useing first class kit, in PERFECT conditions, may be able to extend the envelope a little past the norm. It gives totally the wrong impression to the newer lads and lasses to our sport when folks advertise their 'skills', and that's when things go wrong. No one with a right mind wants to wound, but if they've the idea that 'maybe, if I'm dead lucky, I might score'. Not good...... Just my thought's on the matter. Cheers. Andy.
  11. Good god! I've just woken from this really wierd dream about atomic pellets and all kinds of crap! I really must stop snorting bleach before beddy-bo-bo time...... Cheers.
  12. I have on this very forum and that's why I am so scared. I am going to have a mug of tea now and then carry on digging. ATB Michael That's only what the subversives will have you believe. Go on then, you be a good digger. Cheers?
  13. Maybe what?? Get your own gas spring?? Calm down, man, that's how wars start!! One people, one world! Let's see an end to gas springs! Peace on earth and good will to all men... Cheers. PS I've never found a sub FAC airgun much use past 40ish yards. Ahem.....
  14. No. I seem to remember he stuck a gas spring in it, so we could well be f***ed. Not that the 'Good old US of A' would put it to anything other than the good of the world as a whole ,and not to their own best interests. Best get a bigger spade and start digging!! Cheers.
  15. It's ok, don't panic. I have some very close 'friends' in the CIA and the Yanks now have possesion of this potentialy globe killing piece of armament technology. Thank god it's in safe hands.... Ahem.. Choke... Etc.... Cheers.
  16. Thank god they've not come across darts with red flights in .25! The madness could kill us all! Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Ch ch ch cheers. I want my mummy now!
  17. I've read that Korea are hopeing to up the antee by launching a .25 Baracuda with an as yet undisclosed warhead for testing. God help us all........ Cheers.
  18. I tell you i have heard stories in the local pub of an air rifle club ( the B-ull S-hitters A-rms ) that would make you blush. ATB Michael I know of a similar club that's a bit bigger, the T-takeing H-hopeles L-long range shots. Seems to be more popular than it should be though. Rather too hit or miss (wound), for my likeing. Cheers.
  19. lol! its amazing how threads can loose the original posters question and move onto other things isnt it! I`ve not had chance to go rabbiting this last week, but will take all the good advice with me! As for trying a 100m shot, i wouldnt even begin to try that! Sorry, mate. It did get a bit random. Cheers.
  20. It's only gone off 'cos his finger or something's been on the trigger. Silly lad. Hope he gets well though. Won't make that mistake again. Cheers.
  21. Now you have done it Andy... I now cant get this picture out of my head. The guy with the rifle thinking the rabbit is is twitching in the agony of death, when in fact they are rolling around with laughter and hop back in the hole when the hunter gets to close to pick them up. That would explain a often herd of phenomena of them kicking back to their hole to die, when in fact they are wiping the tears out of their eyes Its your fault this is Andy ATB PMSL Michael I can accept blame with dignaty and grace. Now, where did I put my colostomy bag? Arse!! Cheers.
  22. Oh yes, rabbits and death. Just behind the eye and below the ear (as has been said) is your best chance, if you can get it. Cheers.
  23. What happened to the rabbit? Did it inhale the pellet and choke to death?
  24. You've been thinking about this for a while, haven't you? I just hope they do the proper testing and research. As I said in a post a while ago from my own dealings with the (since banned by the Geneva Convention) Gat gun, the colour of the dart's flight's is vital. Blue- Deadly at close range (300 yards) but affected by cross-winds. Yellow- Good allrounder, but has limits on 'hard' targets past 500 yards. Red- Uttrely overkill! Must not be used unless a full nuclear allert has beed issued!!!!!!! Take care, folks. Take care......... Cheers.
