    I agree 100% working ability comes before the big names just wonderd what other peoples preferences were i like the stamp of the wheeler x terriers i think they are a fine looking animal but you dont tend to see many veterans in this line of breeding as from what ive seen they tend to be abit on the hard side and not the type of dog that can be used every week. atb Lampy

    hi all just like to hear other peoples views on what line of terrier they run and how they rate them i have only ever had nick stevens stuff and they suit my needs but would be nice to hear the views of other lines ie nuttal, wheeler,gould etc and there style of work.The 2 i have here are quite sensible in there working style and will only mix it when they need to.     theres some thing not right here i phoned this guy earlier after loosing my black dog last week i was hopeing to pick up another terrier he told me the chocolate dog had gone but the black and tan bitch would make a great little fox dog as she could get any where being so small and that she was flying to ground. to small for what i want but surely thats an ideal little hunt terrier ! hes either a peddler or passing his shit onto some other poor fecker :censored:

    MY FATHER USED TO WORK A BORDER THE DOG WAS JUST OVER 2YRS OLD BEFORE HE WENT TO GROUND AND I CAN REMEMBER TELLING HIM ON MANY OCCASION THAT IT WASNT GOING TO AMMOUNT TO ANY THING AND ID BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT HOW RONG I WAS. HE TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY HANDY DOG AND HAD MANY GOOD DIGS TO HIM BUT HE WAS A LATE STARTER AND PROBERBLY WOULDNT OF BEEN GIVEN THAT AMOUNT OF TIME BY MOST MYSELF INCLUDED BUT THAT IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE ATB LAMPY

    jmo but if you have a dog/bitch which is under or over shod and has given you 5 plus seasons of good hard work without fail then would you not breed from it ? its only the show ponys that worry about things like this. granted its not ideal but if the dog had proved its self over and over then id have now problem breeding from it jmo atb lampy
