  1. I've got a russell with only one dropped ball. Can they remove just the undropped ball? I wouldn't want him totaly castrated.
  2. hello i sent off for my coppy today. am i right by making the cheque out to fieldfare as this was the only name given in the cmw Yes that's right.
  3. I had a dig on Sunday late afternoon. We started digging as it was getting dark and then the heavens opened. It didn't matter though. about 20 mins into the dig we got a fright when a fox started barking only what sounded like about 30 yards away. Also a Pal of mine dug a dog and vixen last weekend in the same earth.
  4. Even though it's meant to be pest control I thought it was ok to see the fox released. After all it was only trapped in a garden and not posing a threat to any gamebirds or livestock. Better than an animal rescue programme I watched where they took a perfectly healthy cub that was trapped in an alotment shed back to a sanctuary where there were another 100 or so foxes, jabbed it incase it had any injuries which it clearly didn't, kept it in captivity for two months then probably released it in totaly unfamiliar countryside to starve. And as for critisising Charlie killing a mouse, .... you
  5. Pup is very keen. He's seen a bit now but not dug to him yet. The next few weeks and I should get a chance to try him. Very strong dog.
  6. pups look good. Heres mine from you last litter!
  7. My pal shot a cub last week that had had it's nose bitten cleanly off. He said it looked very fresh as if it had just happened too.
  8. incredible. Whish I could be that muscley just from walking about a field and doing a bit of shagging.

  13. Don't know them but a good idea having a digging comp. Might suggest it for at a show or young farmers comp in the future.
  14. Would have had it from you if it was a 1st fix. i'll ask about though.
  15. I've enjoyed a lot of books but found The Working Terrier year books a great book. Lots of interesting and entertaining tales of digging from years gone by. j.Darcy's books are all good too!
  16. looking good. Be nice to see them finished. Put some pics up! I took a day off hunting today to start my new kennels. Got the concrete base down which is a start.
  17. Exactly what I thought as soon as I saw it. Who's meant to be impressed by a picture of your noseless terrier? I'm sure it is a cracking terrier and I wouldn't mind it in my kennel, but I don't think an anti wouldn't see it like this. I don't want to cause an argument either, just voicing my opinion.
  18. Mine before I fitted the catches and strap.

Good man Ian! I thought I'd lost some good contacts. Marvelous decision as long as people think before posting.
