  1. Aludex works well. Your vet will definitely be able to supply you with it but I think you might be able to buy it online too. You may need a vets prescription though to purchase online.
  2. The ones I made were 17.5 " wide, 18.5" tall, 2ft long bottom!
  3. Joe, Prices of steel are going up heavily at present, i used to spend about 4 grand a month on steel, but its closer to 5 1/2 now. The prices dont look that bad, delivery is high though. How many are you looking for? If your after a lot I will price them for you. I might be competitve. If it is just the odd panel, I dought I could compete. Matt Yeh Matt I didn't think the price was too bad either, just was wanting to shop about a bit. I'm only after 2x 2m sections & 2x 1.5m door sections so I guess you probably wouldn't be able to compete with the price. Thanks anyway!
  4. I'm about to start building a new kennel and want to use galvanised bar pannels. I'm aware you can buy them from www.countrywidekennels.co.uk but was just wondering if there was anywhere cheaper or more local to get them from. Thanks.
  5. Absolutely sick the way the chinese skinned that animal alive, and kept the foxes living in those tiny cages. I thought the trapper was great though. Especially when he said " we'll put the beaver facing this way so it can smile at the people"
  6. I ate a pulsing rabbit heart ferreting one day for a laugh. Bye it was hard to swallow.
  7. Good bit of shooting. That'll keep you busy skinning that lot. Nice semi too.
  8. For sale. Two tickets for the CLA Game Fair, 25-27 july. These tickets can be used on either the friday, saturday or sunday. £30 ono PM me if you are interested, and then payment will be via paypal.
  9. Take it one step at a time. Firstly I wouldn't recomend getting three dogs at a time. Why do you want a patterdale x staffy too? Yes a ferret collar will work but if you were to be serious a bellman & flint would be the better job.

  11. Grand looking dog. Looks like a tough little thing. I'm desperate to find a half decently bred patterdale.
  12. Typical rifle brigade thing, no consideration for cubs Never mind, I know myself it's different when your actualy there with a rifle in your hands.

A pack of 25 couple of Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens that hunt rabbit Thanks. New to me. Do they only hunt rabbits or hare as well? Surely you can't get a very substantial hunt from a rabbit? Nice looking pack of hounds though! Are they all privately owned or kenneled together?

Does the Tynedale huntsman still hunt mink? He used to have some good otter hounds. I'm not aware that the TFH huntsman Has ever hunted Mink hounds! Are you thinking of the Tynedale mink hounds (not linked to each other)? If so yes, starting this weekend & he's got some decent hounds! How have the Border gone this season?

Cheers. Yes we had some good hunts and fun with the terriers. Have you done much with the Mink hounds? I find it a tad boring at times but (a bit starty stoppy) if you get where I'm coming from, but i suppose that's Hunting for you. I prefer fox hunting. pre ban of course

I had quite a few days with the Dalston Mink Hounds a few years back! This season I've hunted with the Tynedale, Braes of Derwent, York & Ainsty South, the North Tyne and the Lidesdale. Leveller what is a rabbit hound pack???

  19. I'm having a bash at making a few nets for myself and was wondering what the preferred mesh size was? I was thinking 3 1/2". Also how wide? Some advise would be appreciated thanks...
  20. I'm from the northeast and willing to give you a hand. I have a few friends with terriers too who I often go ratting with too. pm me if you still need a hand.
  21. I'm sure I'll be able to provide you with some good images. I've got my two terriers but I could photograph mine and another good looking russell, or two nice patterdales that I can easily get a hold of to photograph. Let me know if you think I can help.
  22. I'm going to have a bash at making a couple of fox nets for myself and was wondering what the best nylon or polyester twine is to use and where to get it from?
