Was on the beach at Druridge Bay for 1st light this morning with the dogs and camera. The dogs had a good time. Shame you don't find hares on beeches though.
I've just bought a transit van to use for work and to carry my dogs in. I can't decide how to kit it out though so was wondering if any of you fellas have some good set ups in your vans. If you could put some pics up to give me some ideas! Cheers
Land drain 100mm pipe
like this stuff in this link http://www.drainageonline.co.uk/Land-Drainage/100mm-Perforated-Land-Drainage.htm
Not saying buy it from here. You might find it on building sites or farms etc.
Thanks Bosun. You get what you pay for. I could have had them printed onto a poor quality, thin, £3 sweatshirt but these hoodies are good quality, thick, keep you warm and last a long time.
Sunday morning just gone I wasn't at home so Mother got the job of walking my terriers as well as her Russell. Two of them (one being hers) took
off after a rabbit which is quite normal practice when she's got them out. After 15 mins my dog came back covered in earth but no sign of the other one.
After 12 hours of searching and listening at all of the nearby holes and new setts i came across there was no sign of her. She's a very intelligent terrier and will not
out of choice get up close to her quarry hence being the house pet. I've known her be to ground for up to four hours before but
Ferreted a half flooded set along the side of a dyke and a rabbit bolted out of a fully submerged hole. Not a swimming rabbit but was still good to see.
That was kind of him. Be a good collectors piece. Yes I've read it. The fella who introduced me to terrier work gave it to me as a Christmas present when I was 13. Good reasonably priced book.
A little boy comes into the kitchen one day & says to his mum "Nan's got a prawn!"
The mother says " what on earth do you mean?"
The boy takes his mum & shows her Nan asleep on the sofa - dress hitched up.
He points to Nan's protruding clitoris & says, " Nan's got a prawn!"
His mum whispers " That's your Nan's clitoris son!"
To which the little boy replies.......
"Well it tastes like a prawn!"
Fully agree. It doesn't take too much work to break a dog to stock. Also ''Earthdogs for me should be kept on the lead right up to they give a mark at a hole so it doesn't matter if they are stock broken or not'' Does this mean that your dogs never go off the lead at all, even when being exercised?
