some ferrets get very fussy when on dry food and refuse to take anything else I have had a couple that I have got off people that have been like this I just offered them fresh meat every day and no dry when they get hungry they will eat it mate but dry is handy in summer to stop fly's.
whent for a walk out at dusk last night and there wasnt much about but I did see this chap sat out at around 40+ yds one clean shot just in front of the lug and number two down and out for the hw100 I realy am loving this gun.
THE DARKSIDE ALL THE WAY.
there are people out there every year that cant shift there surplus young and would be glad of some one to give them too and at worst you might have to pay a tenner for one hardly worth stealing theiving shits want there hands cutting off. althoe there are some parts of the country were ferrets are hard to come by so the ferret rescue was telling me they had to send 40 to some part of scotland because the rescue up there hadnt had any in for ages and the demand for them was rediculas are they hard to come by around your way bud? might explain why it was robbed hope you find out who has done it

Iam loving the hw100 might be squeezing in an hour tomorow so might be anouther right up on its way with a bit of luck. cant belive you had a hw100 paul and got rid of it this one of mine is going know where.
just practice and get a feel for ya gun to start with 30yds is ample and with experiance the ranges will increase some people can shoot competently at 40-50yds as for the right time that is upto you you will get a kill at any time but you are more likely to see stuff at dawn and dusk or late night with the lamp there is no right or wrong way as long as you are being safe with gun and you are bieng humane with good clean kills wich can only come from practice and as for stalking(walking around shooting) or sniping(sitting in ambush) that is entirly upto personal preference bud but I wouldnt att
what you can do is mark out 30 yds then every 5 yds after that put a marker out then practice at the different ranges learning were you have to place the mill dots to get the intended target when you can do this go out in the day time and pick your self a nice place to sit were you know there are rabbits quickley put your markers out and wait when a rabbit comes out you should be able to use your markers to judge the distance of the rabbit and after a while you will get a feel for the ranges without the markers then move on to lamping but this again takes practice as distance is exagerated at
just added it to favourites so will keep popping in and having a look I just relised as well I havent got a copy of the new dvd to complete the trilogy I get paid saturday so will be sending you a pm si
I shoot phesents every season with my air rifle and never had a prob but like has been said it has to be a head shot the pheasents arnt going to know whats hit them this season with me owning a proper air rifle know lol
I love the dark side I am just practicing my shot placment on hobbits know so fellowship beware
its 22 mate wich is taking some getting used to I allways have a 22 about the house but prefer 177 and my main rifle has allways been 177 until now but as long as I am spot on with my ranges shouldnt be a bother.
feeding chicks costantly can thicken the gullet (what ever that is) and can kill them so I have read and that they should be fed no more than once a week and like has been said already they dont contain very much nurishment.

Alright fry buzzards are more scavengers but they will and do hunt but they are opotunist's and tend to go for the easyer option eg wounded, old, young and road kill ect but it will of been a buzzard they like dense wood.
