  1. I am not nocking any way mate would just like to do it the right way and the most effective way to do the best job possible I have now bought the dvd I was looking for as I was pointed in the right direction and the two ways I have tried are 1st way the farmers way to go around the edge of the dyke to find what he describes as the main run wich he says the mole uses twice a day roughly 7am and 4pm and all ways returns to rest under a dyke which I have found takes a bit longer but this is the method I have most faith in the 2nd way an old lad that was meant to have done a bit when he was younge
  2. to be truthfull andy any thing proberbly seemed excellent back then when all I could get hold of around us were marksman and bulldogs but the hw80 did seem to perform well and was kicking out quite a bit more power using them.
  3. beta pup for me with plenty of meat rabbit, chicken and the ocasional egg and I give goats milk as well just as a change from water for them.
  4. I found a water vole last week its the first I have ever seen it was on the way to school with my son it was next to the main road and must of come off ulverston canal as there are meant to be some down there any ways we took it to the school nature area as it is near were we found it.

  6. Alright boys and girls I could do with some help I have been asked to do some mole trapping by the farmer I have permison off he has gave me his ideas on mole trapping wich were different to the way I was told to do it but after trying both ways I have set 4 traps yesterday and I cant believe it this morning there were two dead moles in my traps the problem is one was cought the farmers way and one the way I was told to set them to be truthfull I think his way is better but I remeber last time I read a mole trapping thread some one said there was a realy good dvd done by one of the regulars on
  7. well said pal, I am breeding this year but for my own use and the surplus is already spoken
  8. I would also split them but it is all down to personal prefrence and if your willing to risk the kits I have had two jills raise litters together and were fine and have left my hob in with the jill and he was fine with the kits and she was fine with it as well but I wouldnt recomend it.
  9. I give mine fish mainly whiting we have a plague of the fooking things at the minute I keep the fillets for myself and the ferrets get the rest guts bones the lot and there is nothing left of them in the morning.
  10. Be carefull with the clown loaches they are great for getting rid of snails but nearly 99% of the time infect your tank with white spot there basterds for it.
  11. I know a guy who leaves all his together in a court hob as well and never has had a problem but I wouldnt risk it my self to be truthfull
  12. I have allways used them in 177 and found them spot on but some one told me there no good for the barrel dont know if this is right but made me change pellets for the r10 but to be truthfull I think there better than the air arms field, I am using webley mosquitos at the minute and they seem spot on but where I bought the r10 from they recomended the accupell.
  13. All just personal preference, albinos are good to see in low light under dikes and if moonlight ferreting but our polecats have been a bloody god send in all this snow
  14. cheers lads i do let the bleed off quickly andy i did see in the leaflet you get with the gun that leting the bleed off slowly can empty the gun so cant be that and if it does it again the next step will be to fill the bottle off the gun but think its ok for now fingers crossed mate thanks for all the advice lads and cheers for posting it on the bsa forum andy.

  16. Alright lads think I might of sorted it it is the valve beetween the quick fill and the bottle not shuting off when the quick fill is removed so I have removed the bottle placed the quick fill in the gun and opened the divers bottle full to 210 bar to clean out the valve there were some fillings and grease came out any ways put bottle back on and it has blown up without leaking so hope it is cured. If I didnt like the gun so much I would get my money back and get something else as it isnt a week till friday but I realy like the gun looks, shoots and handles spot on so I will persevere thanks for
