  1. That is a common feature of human nature, a bit ilke how we'll wait till people start to starve on mass before we take steps to limit population growth.
  2. I had a 16" border terrier cross whippet that could scramble over a 6 ft wooden fence panel.
  3. Bisley Magnums .177 caliber in my HW100, a good accurate pellet that delivers a wallop, I think a great compromise between trajectory and hitting power. My HW95 .20 caliber loves H&N FTT, which is just as well because all that's left pellet wise in that weight and caliber is Bisley Superfields.
  4. I can't really tell about the bull but I'm sure about the beddy mate. Whatever the case, a bit of will will do no harm as far a prey drive goes. As far as house training goes, use a dog crate and let him outside regular.
  5. Thats what the tory papers want you to think....the Politicians are spouting the same rubbish about its affecting the children and people who want to work....strange stance to take when they've consigned thousands of kids to the dole and ruined communities. The tory dogma is purely for the rich always has been always will be, wolf in sheeps clothing. Have you noticed the fallback position is its labours fault we have no choice...its bullshit if they fixed the tax laws there would be no national debt. How can it be right that multi billionaire/millionaires pay less tax than the average jo
  6. Looking at the shape of the head, there is some beddy in there. Someone tried to sell we a beddy whippet a couple of years ago, it turned out to be a bull cross.
  7. That's a lovely gun mate
  8. Aye but you prob only work half the year so that don't count haha...difference is, the only person my time off costs money is me ........there are plenty of people out in the world working long hours who have never taken a penny out of the public purse. Those people are the wealth creators, everyone else is baggage Aye maybe so but without the "baggage" none of the wealth creators would be worth dick. It's always been the way I'm not against folk making money but nobody should be criticised for fighting to better their lot. Do you think it's right that someone works all the
  9. I am sure they could sort out a scheme where they see out there last years in a less stressful job with the public sector. You have to realise that if someone retires at 50, as things are going they could well make 90 years old. Without even taking inflation into account it would require a £600,000 pension pot, which I know full well teachers contributions will not meet.
  10. The ones in this pond are built like torpedos and go like them too, i had a big white one (not the biggest) on and it dragged me all over the place eventually getting into some reeds and losing the hook (I only use barbless) I thought that might be the case mate, just looking at the shape of them.
  11. How do the koi fight pound for pound in comparison with there native cousins?
  12. That wedding paid for it self ten fold with the tourist increase and feel good factor getting people with cash to spread it around. They are not parasites because the vast majority would keep them given a national vote. The lads have served there country and laid there life on the line, I'd be proud to have them as my sons. After the years of Labour scum trying to destroy any national identity we have left, the royal family are one of the few things holding us together. f**k the pampered socialist public sector, it's time to join the real world.
  13. Spot on pal. Something else I've noticed when I go into town is the amount of pet border collies that are being walked about lately. I can't think of a more unsuitable dog to have as a pet. I suppose at least they were being exercised. Maybe it's part of the current collective healthy living fad that's all the rage. It's common knowledge that they need a lot of exercise... I have yet to meet a pet border collie that isn't woefully overweight and suffering a serious case of OCD. I know a lot of people use them for agility, which I think is perfect, but as an average family pet? Bad
  14. CSJ is the best I've used, you only pay for the product and not the advertising and middle man. I use ' that'll do' 50/50 with raw chicken, protein wise at 21% it works out about right for my lurcher.
  15. I wonder how the ban effects hunting with a cheetah? Well it is a ban on hunting with dogs.
  16. Like many people I suffer the consequences of these prat owners. Frustrated dogs yapping all day in my neighbours gardens.
  17. I see from the article that the cheetas were trained at Staines track, I remember years ago being told just that.
  18. Nice pup, looks justy like mine at that age, bedlingtons have strong genes by the looks of it.
  19. If it looks like a bedlington and behaves like a bedlington then to me it's a bedlington. To get hung up about purity of blood lines is the type of thinking that has caused KC dogs to end up at best washed out excuses of the original dog and at worst inbred disease riddled vet funders.
  20. Very nice mate, looks like it could have a dash of bull in there.
  21. I was talking to an old guy and he said he would walk down Staines high street on a Saturday afternoon with a .22 centre fire rifle, uncovered just on a sling over his shoulder and shoot rabbits on the local moor. I hate to think how things will be in 40 years time, I would imagine, no guns no dogs no hunting. Unless we have to arn ourselves to fight a civil war against you know who!
