  1. Sorry to hear that, I'm not far from you and I'll keep my eyes open.
  2. Well muslims more often than not marry their first cousins, never done them any harm
  3. Yes funnily enough Mongolian restuarants don't serve Mongolian food. Their actually called Mongolian Bbqs, the basic idea was when Gengis's men were conquoring central asia and eastern europe they just collected any food they could find, proped a metal shield over a fire and just cooked all the stuff together. So a mongolian bbq just has all types of meat, veg and sauces, you pick what you want hand it to the chef. He stir fries it and hands it back to you. Wallah! Poxy stir fry!
  4. I think in the future there's going to be the need for some sort of private protection organisation for hunters and fishermen, maybe liked up using mobiles, there's always going to be one of us nearby. The police are now so politicised by this f*****g government that there's no way we can depend on them to offer help in these situations, well they can't be relied on in any situation except of course handing out speeding tickets I heard a copper on a phone in the other day saying how most senior police now are so controlled by labour that it's almost impossible to do there job properly, it'
  5. Looks in great shape, i fancy one of them pocket rockets later on.
  6. Mine was outside in the kennel at six weeks, but it was during summer months. A little heat when it's very cold would be advisable.
  7. You must be joking, all there up to tackling is women and kids :wankerzo4:
  8. I need sone too, where did you find it?
  9. To be honest i don't buy into this feeding raw and dry food seperate. It sounds like poor science, if you feed any two types of food to a dog or yourself for that matter, yes they will take a different amount of time to absorb. So what? It never worrys people using the barf diet that meat and veg take a diffent amount of time to absorb or meat and mixer or two different types of meat, say chicken and beef. Happy New Year Shepp
  10. I'll give that a try Hob&Jill, lots of golf courses round here so that could be a possibility.
  11. Your advice is very much appreciated Compo
  12. Hello all, I am looking for some permission that is within an hours drive of Heathrow. I am looking to ferret, lamp and if possible shoot with an air rifle. I would consider leasing some land with my father who owns a shot gun or joining some kind of syndicate. Any information will be appreciated. Shepp
  13. I bought that lamp with the 14a belt pack, took it out for a shine the other day just over the park to get the pup used to it. It's got an excellent narrow beam, better than i thought it would have. The pup was jumping up snapping at the beam, not quite the idea i had in mind Shepp

If a greyhound can race on it then there can't be much wrong with it. I feed raw chicken and tripe and use good quality dried food as a mixer, the pups the healthiest shes ever been. I also don't go with this long term health business with feed, if the dog looks, behaves, races and works right then the right stuff is going in. I myself got a bit too anal with it a little while back, why make your life too difficult. Shepp
  15. I'm surprised to see how high in the leg them bassets are, a much different dog to the ones i see over the park.
  16. Not worth the risk having one of these breeds around kids, full stop!
  17. Cheers tis tm, i'll take a trip down the scap yard
  18. Nice bitch, how much lakie is there in her mate? Your right stick to a nice big whippet or whippet/grey, keep it simple
  19. Mines easy to train but needs a lot of attention and can't be just left in the kennel for hours. I don't really know how quick she is because she has'nt really started yet but i think her take off from standing is pretty good, she's also quite agile. Shepp
  20. My fathers just been fitting me a new covered run on the side of my shed. It has two ship lap sides, open cage front and a tin roof. Inside the shed i've build a thick ply bedding box with underfloor heating. The underfloor heating is of the type used in bathrooms, it's 150watts and cost 100 pounds with thermostat from screw fix. It's attached to the ply floor and covered with cheap ceramic floor tiles, just like flooring a bathroom. Going to use the carpet strips for the door to help keep draughts out. Another possibility is to buy a steel tubular heater, they work out 60w per foot but ne
  21. Not a good time of year to find a decent pup, very few people want a winter litter. I think it could be real pain having one now, much better when you have the long evenings to take them out and about, also the garden ends up as a mud bath. Shepp
  22. Maybe she kept the eyeballs Ditch so they could see her through the week I've eaten roasted beetles in Cambodia, chickens feet in china town London and sea slug in Malaysia. Forgot to mention, i ate some pussy in Thailand too, well i know i should'nt but it was freshly shaven
  23. Come on look at the arse end of it, then look at those photos of the other saluki types. You don't need to be a nutrition expert or hunter to know a dog in bad condition.
  24. Nice bit of malnutrition there mate, hope the dogs not yours
