  1. Good news My mate has three whippet bitches, all related. They kick off regular, two will always attack one, it never gets sorted out. His whippet dog keeps well clear.
  2. I found Vista really good but i had the same problem with my printer.
  3. If you hav'nt the cash for a good single malt then Jamesons comes second. A single malt can be just as smooth but with a lot more complex flavour.
  4. Sorry to hear about your troubles mate, I know what it's like to have a lurcher with that much smart working dog in it, they won't just sleep all day like a running dog. Someoneone will be very lucky to get hold of a well looked after unspoilt bitch like that. Good luck with your wifes recovery, I know it can be a slow road back but she'll get there. Shepp
  5. She's either spotted a cat or squirrel
  6. I can see where the deerhound thought in her makeup is coming from, she's got that elegant look about her that only a deerhound can put in.
  7. Yes there pretty racy, I think it's because the collie used is very lightly built. Here's my bitch from the same litter.
  8. This is my mates black merle from collie johns last litter, he's around ten months and slightly over half fell collie.
  9. Thats what there training those dogs to do and what you condemn them for! Hunting. That was not sport and was not in any way hunting.
  10. Looks like a real classic working type bedlington
  11. I've seen a couple of them in the past, my mate had one and it was a first class bushing dog. Caught the odd one between bushes too
  12. Thanks guys I may go for the rope version because she can walk to heal now and i think she will on the lamp soon enough.
  13. My pups just reaching the age when i'm thinking about getting her started with a bit of lamping. Can anybody recommend a mail order or internet site where i can buy a good slip lead of the wooden handle wrist loop type and a lazerlite lamp with belt pack. Cheers Shepp
  14. Thanks David, I wonder if one would kennel alright with a lurcher?
  15. I have always liked the look of working bedlingtons but I've never had the chance to be around one. I just wondered if anybody who has owned or ownes one can tell me what the temperament and character is like? Points like - are they yappy are they quarrelsom with other dogs are they smart or dumb are they slow starters do working ones suffer from this copper disease Thanks for any feed back Shepp
  16. Yours is a similar stamp to my pup, what sort of age did you start him lamping, mines as keen as mustard to catch something.
  17. I love the noise they make, the must be a really easy going breed, imagine trying to to that with terriers
  18. Sorry to hear your sad news Woodman, wishing you strength to go on.
  19. Hey good find franny, they look like a pretty even bunch to me
  20. I think i could of done better with her now, she was a slow starter coming from the border side i guess, and i was 16 and impatient. She had a shorter tail than usual due to the border having a naturally shortish tail, she was quite a tough cookie though and would'nt back down to other dogs whatever there size.
  21. Chucky are you talking about a border terrier greyhound
