  1. If the plug is blue then yes it's 230v If the plug is yellow then yes too but you will need to change the bulb to a 230v one because it will be 110v.
  2. cheers mate but i havent started it yet, i want to get some professional experience over the summer Yes that won't be a problem, you can still build up the work experiance hours now to use for your course later, others did it on my course. I struggled to find the time when I was there, just finished now, got a Merit with my national certificate. I'll go back next year and make it up to a diploma, that year includes guns, stalking and deer management.
  3. Pick up a log book from your college, log and get signed off all your hours you spend doing pest control or anything else you do working in the countryside. You will find it much easier to keep up with your college work and get high grades if you don't have so much volunteer work to do during the course. You will need 240 hours in total. Take my advice and you will thank me later, i can promise you that much. Lastly you will love every miniute of it, it's a great course and there will be plenty of work in the environmental sector once the recession is over. Good luck Shepp
  4. You've been in a few fights and like a good whistle by the looks of it
  5. well mate, wrap that greyhound bitch up in cotton wool. me and a couple of mates have been through quite a few,and not many are truely game, they might seem it once or twice a week for a while when fresh off the track, there scissor bite and frantic shake but once settled down regular work soon sickens them. theres alot of people breeding poor grade bull x , but the well bred ones cant be touched for as you call it.. "dispatch anything on there own". BITCH how the f.uck have you got away with that photo for so long. Brilliant

  11. I agree with you RFYL, do what another higher dog in a pack would do and pin it down by the scruff. Always worked for me, mine look at me with tails wagging when i take bones off them.

    AMAZING

Much easier to read if you don't think about it.
  13. Nice healthy pups mate and a very fair price.
  14. Well collies come with both prick and folded ears then theres kelpies which are prick eared.
  15. Well two I can think of are - Great Beer Guide by Michael Jackson, This has 500 bottled beers from all over the world or could be Good Beer Guide by CAMRA, shows the best pubs in the UK for real ale
  16. No it was in this section mate, but if I go into any more detail the topic may get pulled again.
  17. I thought it was a bit strong the comments I received for my topic yesterday. All I wanted to know was a way to deter foxes from entering a garden. I received a reply accusing me of wanting to cause suffering or injury to an animal, this is absolute rubbish and is something I have never set out to do in my life. Livestock all over the country are detered from leaving fields with the use of electric fencing, this causes a small degree of pain, would a topic about this get pulled? I think mods pulled this topic due to being leaned on by an individual and was unjust. Shepp
  18. What you mean something else begining with Bi- ?
  19. Maybe we could call them Rogue Vets. I think they should'nt get away with it. Willet House in Ashford Middlesex, got a bad reputation for being stitch up merchants. Shepp
  20. If it was me then for 8 quid i would probably go back for the checkup, if it was 20 then i would take a look at it and decide myself. I took my dog to the vets a last week with allergy problems and he gave me antibiotics, piriton and shampoo, charged 75 quid and i was no wiser than when i walked in the door. Shampoo was 20 quid, which i gave back straight away and got a refund. I think you must always bear in mind they will milk the feck out of your problem to line there own pockets, so reasearch and common sence are the only way to save your hard earned cash.
  21. Could you pm me the details as well please mate
  22. It's getting to the stage where nobody will be able to afford to own a dog without medical insurance because the vets have upped there prices so much. It's emotional blackmail and all that will happen is people will treat the dog themselves with meds off the not. If you own a few dogs then insurance can be out of the question for many people. In my experiance a lot of the vets are'nt all that great, especially on minor alements, you are better off researching the problem yourself.
  23. To walk any kind of distance then I think boots are a must. Even if you pay 200 pounds, if it's a decent pair then it's money well spent considering the milage you get out of them whilst being warm and comfortable.
  24. Brush cutter is the best thing, not good chucking chemicals around if you can avoid it.
