Agree with the sentiments mate, but this one lies at the foot of the Scottish government, not ours. Useless as our government is, I couldn't have seen them releasing this convicted murderer, especially with the American government requesting that he not be released. This all stinks of political posturing on the side of the Scottish parliament. A bold statement to the world, (the rest of the UK & America especially) that Scotland is a big boy, it can make big decisions no matter what anybody else says or does.
