  1. In my opinion the tories if they get in? will implement legislation to benefit the MFHA and registered packs? there is no way on gods earth that they will put in place legislation with re: to lurcher and terrier work the way it was before the ban as we were always seen as the poor relation of hunting with dogs and were cynically used in the numbers game Tom
  2. Despite admitting guilt see link: http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/TV-che...ilty.5605542.jp as a trained barrister she know's the law inside out and was always confident on this one!! Tom
  3. I was a self employed contractor for over 20 years in the building industry and there is a massive difference between a quote and an estimate, a quote is a fixed price and if accepted it!! is a contract wether verbal or written an estimate is open to fluctuation and and agreement should always be arrived at, with both parties!! You can always sue them in the small claims court at your local sherrif court? this is'nt as costly as it sounds! as the paper work is supplied by the court and all you have to do is fill in the details of the monies claimed and what for, these people obviousley own
  4. This is one of my pet hates and it makes my piss boil If your a regular pigeon decoyer? lucky enough to get half decent bag's!! why not link up with a game dealer sell them and at least get some finance back?? If your only shooting a few it takes minutes to de-breast them and dispose of the carcass reasonably ferret food eg: pigeon breast meat is one of the best food rescources around!! good in stir fries casserole's pies etc:!! Anyone wasting rescources like rabbit, pigeon, hares etc: is'nt a true countryman or sportsman and it reflects badly on the guy's who try to do the right thing
  5. I've met young joe, twice now! great wee fella and as funny as hell!!!!!!!!

  6. I'm really wonderimg if Canning is your real surname or is it Cunning or Coniving?? You ask some well meaning and gullible people/organisations to support you, without telling them of your conviction? You also ask and expect a lot of questions to be answered by others? and yet refuse to answer points or questions put to you directly!! see below: You got caught and this is the only way you can deal with It? also appears you have your own agenda? this is "feck all" to do with safeguarding the rest of us from the animal welfare charities?? its about a someone who on the face of it appears as a
  7. No matter how your conviction was obtained "by bogus information, lies and corrupt DNA evidence that the RSPB were told not to use." how!! did they secure it and what's happening with an appeal?. and did you inform the SGA of your conviction when you asked for support on your petition, I got it straight from the horse's mouth you did'nt!! I as a member of the SGA I have asked the members of of the SGA who signed it? to look again at their decision and some of them were really concerned about the fact you did'nt declare you have a conviction for a serious wildlife crime and if they had been awa
  8. Don't "address your conviction by various means" do it by the right one APPEAL!!!!!!!! let the courts decide, we know the RSPCA/RSPB are tossers and liars who overstep the mark at times but you were nailed bang too rights and according to information on other threads you tried to con other bird of prey enthusiasts by stating what you were selling was captive bred?? in my eyes conning ordinary lads is worse and bang out of order!! than nest robbing, which was legal when I was a kid! had my own egg collection and used to rear baby magpies jackdaws etc: Tom Ps: the way it reads if you sold
  9. Your right my eyesight is getting worse and my brain is slowing up instead of reading steph's profile I went straight to a research paper on the net about bumblebees and information I'd allready seen on the bbc regarding the same apologies too everyone and steph Tom Ps: anyone know of a good home for a dementia sufferer who wears a foxmask sporran???? Ahem ..FT I enjoy your posts and your undoubted knowledge is an obvious reflection of years nae decades of the love of your sport and the countryside...............HOWEVER, there may be a trip too specsavers needed here a
  10. Having received a pm from the lady and done a wee bit of research on my own I do believe him to be genuine individual studying bumblebees, He was under the misconception that a majority of pest controllers would have no compassion for the wee fuzzy bombers and would kill them and destroy their nests and she'd be able too benefit from the pest controllers work, it was as simple as that nothing sinister Tom
  11. Earlier today I phoned John Huberry's workshop and spoke to his extremly nice receptionist Michelle! I gave her a false name said I was the Director of Blair Drummond Safari Park and I was looking for a company that could fabricate a travelling box for baby girrafe's? she asked me to hold on a minute as she wanted to ask one of the lads if they could!! In fact big John himself was in on the joke and he asked Michelle to get some sizes and further details as DD could fabricate anything to do with animal transportation. Once the Giraffe box questions were out of the way, I asked if they
  12. I was under the impression that due to the decline in numbers of bumblebees especially in Scotland that they had some kind of protection, they're not protected by law, some species of bumblebees in the UK are in decline thus becoming a rarity!! and it was inappropriate to kill them or desroy their nests, I have'nt heard of any pest controllers destroying bumblebee nests?? Tom Ps: check out the spaniel who searches for bumblebee nest: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/5197120.stm

I've just been dropped off at home and its 8.40 pm on Monday night I've been at EDRD since Friday my buddy Joe and I as!! usual had the best time ever and Danny and Sue must share the crown for running what is ultimately the best working dog show in the UK, we had a brilliant time in the beer tent last night with a karoke and Steve the landowner at the EDRD finals giving us his best impersonation of Elvis!! The after show bar is an integral part of the EDRD experience and is as good as what goes on in the rings!! Danny glad you enjoyed the Poteen but the 100% vodka you were tippling also he

  15. Your right, John! to describe the kilt as a skirt is deeply offensive to some!! I don't thik you have a national dress in Englandshire, but then again you can't have everything!! There are some cracking English district tartans available, as you say Durham, Newcastle, Sheffield etc: and you don't have to be Scottish to wear and appricate the kilt!!!! Tom
  16. Thats another fine mess you've got me into!! Brokeback mountain indeed I suppose it could be worse it could be humpshagging hillock I'll be slightly innebreiated to notice if anyone's taking the piss, If there's any piss taking I'll make sure you get your fair share John-boy!! and I'll be joining in , by the way what about this unique kilt in the special tartan in honour of your Wee Missus, done anything about it yet? I've been in contact with a company in Edinburgh run by members Bal's community who deal in kilts and thing's and hopefully will be able to supply us with some new highland

As Forest say's your talking crap and!! you've proved youself to be fecking a liar . there was no digging compitition at EDRD last year and who were the terrier club members who turn up with their own customised digging gear, and what was the name of the terrier club? I assume you started this thread as a wind up because you definately were'nt at the same EDRD show I attended last year? because your describing incidents and events, that did'nt take place and I should know! 22. There were two BBC series featuring Clarrie (Clarissa) and Sir Johnny Scott "CLARISSA and the COUNTRYMAN" and of course the second series "CLARISSA and the COUNTRYMAN , SALLY FORTH" as far as I'm aware the BBC as not transferred either of the two series to DVD? In "CLARISSA and the COUNTRYMAN , SALLY FORTH" Johnny's love and first introduction to terriers is described in the Ist chapter, entitled " For The Love Of A Tyke" which is also the title of a well know terrier song I spend some time recently! with Johnny at the Yorkshire Game Fair but I have'nt seen the wonderfull Clarissa for a wee

My Mrs was a housing officer for 18 years with the local authority and she still works with the local housing dept! dealing with tenants who abscond, anti social behaviour, rent arrears and the legal implications and obligations of being a local authority tenant she deals with benefit issues every day Her advice is as long as you can provide evidence that you stay and reside elsewhere your allowed to house-sit while your girlfriend is on holiday She also say's a three day rule does'nt apply in this situation!! but if you were to be staying at your girlfriends house for an excessive length o
