Ballinlough Game Fair, Co Westmeath
Foxgun Tom replied to true countryman's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Bill Beckett is one of the organisers of The Moira and Ballinlough Game Fair's I've known him for a good few years and he's one of the good guy's , a true countryman at heart, and much needed friend to the Lurcher & Terrier community This seem's to be a discussion about the organisers of the fairs Birr and Ballinlough rather than who run's the Lurcher & Terrier show's? Remember Ballinlough is only in its 2nd year and its still a learning curve for some (traders etc:) as for Bill Becket I'd vouch for him any day of the week Tom I see you TC aare still doing a promotio -
Spent a long time in Cornwall shopfitting, Penzance, Bodmin, St Austell Cambourne etc: loved the place, loved the people and this old, hairy arsed Scotsman is looking forward to showing his grandkids this stunning county Tom

Never, ever, accuse me of issuing bully boy threats!! thats not the person I am, I've never threatened anybody in my life or wished them any harm!! its just another ruse/ploy by you to deflect the issue's, put to you!! I know nothing about DNA but!! I can smell bullshit a mile away, If your a man of any integrity take up the offer and attend EDRD and state your case (many of these guy's have been at the sharp end of animal welfare charities) , after all its some of the same people your asking for support, and if your genuine they'll take you too their hearts I know you won't and can't attend,

Give up for feck's sake Derek you've got an invitation either take it or shut up!!!!!!!! if your a gen up guy most of the lads on here would support you!! in the meantime all you appear to be is a right "TWAT" How many forums have you pasted shit on? this site is far better than that!! unfortunately the Mod's have'nt cotton'ed on too you yet!! You are scum of the lowest kind and I don't hide behind any bogus names my name is Tom Chalmers (and a lot of guys on here have met me) if you want contact details pm: me!! you got caught out "fecking deal with it , you were convicted by a jury of your peers and deemed to be a lying fecker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if you want a face to face meeting to discuss the subject I'll be at the EDRD finals on the 9th of this month (August) convince me and the other lads on the forum your not an @rsehole and this is a direct invitation for you to redeem yourself, instead of being a cyber warrior, I'm tra

Hope it meets with success but unfortunately it clash's with probably the best Lurcher and Terrier show in England "THE EARTH DOG RUNNING DOG" finals Tom

Wow!! 30 signatures on a petition to the Prime Minister to investigate the RSPCA with only a paragraph of text for the public to digest that's partly based on opinion with no instances of fact eg: More details from petition creator "the rspb are taking the role of police by investigating people given this fact who is going to police the rspb" The RSPCA are a registered charity not a psuedo police agency and as such are not above the law!! (no matter what the organisation thinks itself) Current legislation allre

Your right its not about your appeal its about inegrity and honesty and you asking for support, any of the lads on here convicted of a wildlife crime?, its usually about taking one for the pot or carrying out what could be considered illegal pest control when asked by a landowner or others or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time it also could just be a total ignorance of the law and they put their hands up to it because they have no option? You!! on the other hand show a certain degree of intelligence and have been convicted of crimes which include making a profit, and could have ha
-
Couple of quick question!! have you appealed your convictions? if not why not? and were you convicted of taking eggs, chicks or birds of prey from specific locations in Scotland and if you were Perry Mason why were'nt you processed under the Scottish legal system? The boys in Barlinnie would have loved you  (litrally) Tom

SACSs gamefair cancelled
Foxgun Tom replied to Foxgun Tom's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Hi Ian Nice to see you Your right as usual these shows are about joe public and joe public has been let time and time again by the individuals concerned by them cancelling shows at short notice Tom -
Have'nt a clue what the jewish crack is about Its English and Welsh members of SACs who should feel discriminated against!! this is a direct quote from the SACs website: "We exist to promote and protect the future of country sports in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the environment on which they depend, and the interests of those people who are involved or employed in managing, conserving, and enjoying Scotland's and Northern Ireland's unique sporting heritage". as you can see no mention of Wales or Englands unique sporting heritage? its strange to hear that you'll continue to financially su

Hi let me know where the link is and what banner? and I'll remove it? If your referring to the Countrysports forum? sacs in the web address does'nt refer to the Scottish Association for Countrysports and that forum has no links with SACs as stated clearly in the forum, if you type in, The Countrysports forum in Google it'll take you to that address I'm also not against them, only deeply disapointed that they never never kept their promises to me or kept up their commitments to, some members, and people in England and Wales The Scots and Northern Irish lads will get more commitment from S

Certainly looking at a new show for next year, where hopefully I'm taking an active part Tom

Mark if in anyway I've offended you or your sensibilities I humbly apologise! Dont think for a minute that SACs is the great organisation you believe it is, your lucky if its total membership is over 5000 and I don't think it exceeds even that at the moment? It also has no lobbying power south of the border, or any type of management structure in place in England and Wales despite whisperings of creating the same, all it can offer is insurance with limited back-up. At the present time It has'nt moved on effectively enough for the benefit of its members? It will in the meantime not to be ab

Mark again with the greates of respect your emphasis is on shooting and I don't fault you for that, I'm also a gun and have been for over 40 years as for sorting it out Ian Clark the Director of SAC's has no intrest in as you say "Get it sorted" he continually buries his head in the sand when the going gets tough?? I contacted him by phone, E-mail as early as today and yesterday to resolve the situation and he's ignored all approaches, I also tried to get a resolution in October last year!!. The working dog lads have allready lost out with regards to SACs , Not one official representative of t

Unfortunately you can't rescue a show if the organisers are seen or perceived as being disreputable? by some well respected traders, especially if its also been regarded as a con all along by a lot of Scots? In my opinion a non-show is better than one!! thats a rip-off and takes place. If SGF Events Ltd think I'm being too harsh or unfair please let me know as I have the original e-mails re: backing up my involvement in the past!! I think they should be ashamed of themselves for letting people down as I knew they would by cancelling and!! for spoiling peoples plans (its not the first time they

The SACs show at Ingilston organised by SGF Events Ltd is cancelled http://www.selbygamefair.co.uk/calendar.htm I contacted the events office staff at Ingilston today and they informed me that they had been told the show was cancelled due to the current climate and a lack of interest by traders? This show was also advertised on the visit Scotland website as part of the homecoming celebrations, To say theyr'e was a lack of interest at any of the at any of the Homecoming events is a lie!! SACs got involved with an Arthur Daly type character and its came back and bit them on the arse? I actually
