That's a nice looking rifle, Callum. Do you use it without a mod? If so, how do you find it, noise and recoil wise?

My above views on the subject are pretty clear, but I should add one thing: The .22 rf is an invaluable tool for Fox control in certain situations.

Why would you even think that of ''The Huntinglife'' Isn't it obvious? Some of the replies on the recent topic about the tw*t who was filmed swinging a Cat, made it quite clear that some people find it quite acceptable practice. But in my view, and I believe many other's too, cruelty is cruelty, no matter what the animal.

Me neither, or any pizza for that matter, glorified cheese on toast with a bit of extra topping! Mind you if the truth be known I bet we eat all sorts of crap in some of the bought foods. Although I eat lots of bought stuff, give me something I've reared or caught myself anyday

Why didn't you say so at first?...............Greyhounds have a habit of being like that the ones i back respond by coming last -- mate had a dog running a few week back told me to put good money on it -- i looked at its form and odds of 6-1 and left it -- the fecking thing pissed it You've got the same luck as me then when it comes to betting on animals!

Doh when you said "switched off and switched on again" l thought you meant the computer not the browser so was thinking that if it was still running after a restart that it was a virus. cheers Callum Same here, I assumed it'd been switched off, which made me think it was a either a virus, spyware or adware

I'm no expert but I recently had a similar problem and cured it (eventually!) by starting windows in safe mode (do this by pressing f8 as it's first starting up) then choosing 'start windows in safe mode' from the choices. When you've got started in safe mode run a programme called adaware, it's free but you may have to download it on another pc first. It should detect and remove anything that's causing the problem. Hope this helps.

That's reminded me of a few reported cases like that a few years ago, and my opinion is that those that do such things are really just pathetic little nobodies who for some reason feel the need to exercise some sort of dominance and superiority over something bigger and more powerful than them. And they do it from the opposite side of a fence so they're safe from any retaliation. These people really are worthless.

I agree with you there . Although I don't really agree with anyone charging for being taken out, good luck to the man if he can get takers. But I must admit when I read the first post, I thought JJ has got to stand for just jesting! And it was simply a wind up.

I know the debates on here about cruelty to Cats have brought some contrasting views, but surely no one can think this is acceptable can they? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-15777450

I've been looking for one too, as I also find the hand ones a pain, but these http://www.bushwear.co.uk/index.php?pageNum_productsall=7&totalRows_productsall=84&ClassID=140 are a bit much of a pain in the pocket.

I love curries, and have one at least a couple of times a week. I've been growing my own chillis for years now, and always use them along with ginger, garlic, and whatever other spices I fancy at the time. I love lots of other foods too, savoury stuff anyway, but my favourite meal has to be a really hot curry awashed down with a bottle of red. My mouth's watering just thinking about it

There's been a lot of debate on this subject here and on other forums, and the simple answer would be, 'yes a 22 rf is powerful enough to kill a Fox cleanly' (and many other larger animals, for that matter) . But there is a 'but', and that 'but' is that range and accurate shot placement are much more vital than with larger, centrefire calibres. I assume your friend is thinking that he may like to have a go at Foxes, and if so it's important to remember that the ideal outcome of every shot should be a quick, clean kill. If in doubt, don't shoot.

Tell them to get the carcasses post mortemed asap (if that's not already being carried out). It's not worth waiting till they're all gone.

You are one sad man rob! But that is very funny . I just thought the electric was off because he was being a typical tight scotsman

It's a shame but I think that as a nation as a whole, we prefer sad news, so that's what they tend to show. Maybe that's cos all the soaps etc seem to be full of woe (at least that's what I gather from the papers and radio, as I wouldn't watch them if they were the only things on TV). While I'm having a little rant, I also believe that if a cure for cancer is ever found, the way things are it'll probably take up a small corner on page 8 of the tabloids, while the latest X-factor shite is splashed all across the front page .
