I think it's a Turkish breed, akbash is how I think it's spelled. If I'm right then yes it is a breed that guards flocks. Just googled it and come up with this familiar pic! : Akbash Shepherd.

It's not a real Polar bear!! :laugh: so you say i was out last night in the snow and saw one for a second or two it must of been lamped before Thank f**k someone else saw it too :icon_eek: my family are taking me back to the home tomorrow i thought i was'ent going back till after chrismas That's great news!.............. At least now I know I won't be spending Christmas alone

A few people take a shotgun and rifle when lamping Foxes, to use when the Fox comes in very close, but I'm not sure how many use only a shotgun, and I think over time you'd get a lot of frustration when charlie stops just tantalisingly out of range. I know there's a lot of people who frown on it, but I personally use .22 for situations close to houses. Used with night vision, I find it perfect for 'delicate' situations where not all the locals would be happy to know that foxes were being controlled, and even though ranges have to be kept sensible, you still have more reach than a shotgun.

to late now numb nuts :laugh: You should really start with a capital letter. f**k off Well that's you right off the Xmas dinner list... Lol aslong as the boxing day candle lit dinner is still on ill be ok Just the above two, then I could sit back and watch them gaze lovingly into each others eyes across the table , exchange presents (which would naturally be matching jackets for their Dogs) then as I'm clearing the table I'd hear them pause briefly under the Mistletoe before retiring for an early night to consumate their love..........................................

I've done business with a few lads on here who I've never met, and everything went smoothly (I was the one selling, so they'd probably have had less reason to trust me)and I'd definitely now class them as trustable, as I think they would me also.

There's only two things that you should do: 1 - Find a real Polar Bear 2 - Give it every other shituzu (Shitzu) you can find, but make sure you remove all ribbons from them first, as these may cause the bear some distress

There is no sure fire way of saying any bullet no matter how small it is or what type will not go through what you are shooting at or even if you've unwittingly knocked the scope and miss, the round will go careering over the hill. If its not a safe shot with a .243 then its not a safe shot with a .17 Its the same as the argument that a .17HMR is better than a .22LR for shooting flat ground because it doesn't ricochet. Very sensible reply , and something that should always be in every shooters mind.

There's an awful lot of behaviour that most of western society finds cruel and barbaric, but other cultures consider it not only acceptable but necessary, such as 'honour killings', female circumsision etc, etc. Things like this have been argued over forever, and will probably continue to be so, and over the ages countless wars have been started by one race or culture trying to force their beliefs on another. If you think about how many people have been killed simply as a result of believing in a different 'god', then it could be argued that religion, rather than being mankinds 'salvation

If they were gay though, and something catastrophic happened to the planet, leaving a few survivors, at least they'd still be able to procreate. So simply making them homosexual could be nature hedging its bets.

If being gay is a genetic thing, does anyone think that homosexuality could possibly be a form of natural birth control? With the worlds population increasing all the time, is mother nature simply producing more gay people as a way of slowing things down?

To me, being gay is no different to anyone practicing any form of religion, as long as they don't try to force their beliefs on me then I'm ok with it. If a gay man came onto me he'd get the same response as when the jehovas witnesses come calling! I believe in 'if I want something I'll go out and get it, so don't come a calling'
