Yep big money and way over priced but they still give me a stiffy If I can pick one up for the right price secondhand it should do everything I want running at 12ft/lbs Deker! this new place I'm at is Infested with f*****g squirrels/Rats and a good few pigeons which will all except the Rats end up in the freezer for Hawk food.... It'll probaly save me a fortune in food costs in the firs 12 months .... Jasp -

Cheers for the link Bedrock I have just joined to gleam some info and hopefully a rifle if one pops up ... Jasp Nice one Sean mate! Ok guys I'm in the running now for a decent Pre Charge and narrowed it down to the two above! I fancied the Ranger mainly down to the amount of shots per charge and its Ambi Stock but now also like the MK4 .... Both Guns are obviously exceptional but which would you have? I've banged up a Wanted Add on another forum for a .177 Ranger in the Norfolk/Suffolk/Lincolnshire area but am now open to a MK4 as long as its a lefty! My heart says Ranger but my heads saying the MK4 has sex stamped all over it ..... cheers Jasper

Cracking picture selwyn . You're right mate it is user error! 99% of my pictures end up binned before I find a half decent one , I'm useing the standard 18-55 lens at the moment which probably don't help much.... Jasp

Cracking picture FH . I was with a lad a week or so ago as we walked through some setaside when we litteraly walked onto a fox just a few yards infront of us sunning himself well within shotgun range! He had a bit of a shock when he woke and saw two people standing just a few yards away..... Jasp

Its none stop Kay! more DIY cuboards and wardrobes to be assembled today for the kids . the guy who lived here before fancied himself as a bit of a DIY buff and seemed to just set about everything with a hammer and nail, I spend most days pulling nails, making doors fit, gates fit and screwing just about everything that moves .... Nice one Kay . its looking alot better in the garden now the strimmer has been blasted over it, the aviaries still need the window bars fitted and the partition and then thankfully they'll be finished, I'm totaly knackered out now with all the things to do..... Jasp

You'll have to Download a aplication form this link <DEFRA ANIMAL HEALTH> and fill in the aplication to get sent off for the bird, just fill in the ring number of the bird you breed and date Hatched and your other details you're away.... Jasper Article 10 Aplication

Nice one LL If you get one you'll be Hooked! these birds are pretty adictive. A Harris will catch on quick and follow you much like a dog! they're pretty inteligent compared to alot of birds in this game.... ATB Jasp

Nice one mate!! I don't think I will have any available for a while CD with the moving and getting the birds settled in the new enclosures..... Its one of the young P/R Finn females Derek from this year! I'm not 100% what she will finaly fly at but I would expect around 2lb 10 and perhaps over when she is up and running mate

Came across this yesterday while out with a mooch with a pal and his bird. the animal had no visable wounds on it but the whole top of its head was covered in Flys, Maggots and blow fly eggs :sick:, the white in the picture under its antlers is just a thick mass of fly eggs... It just sat in the grass obviously waiting to die or be killed! weather this was a old wound gone bad I have no idea unless anyone else knows different about any deseases? Jasper

That one fell through right at the last stig! disapointment was a understatement expecialy with the missus who had been round and measured up for curtains and everything... this one is in a different location! it has more land and also situated on a sporting estate where the gamekeepers are pretty easy going when it comes to having some sport . I suppose our lives are mapped out for us in the end as to be honest mate when we lost the last decent property I never thought another would come up but thankfully it did... A couple of lads off the forum Milllet and Bopper helped me out big

Its not far off 2 acres CH, just moved in there a while back in a cracking spot on a sporting estate! I was shocked to see a Muntjack in the back garden the other evening plus there's a pit at the end of the garden full of bunnies like watership down .... In one of the pictures looking across the fields shows the nearest house to us...
