Just a few pic's of the aviaries not far off being finished, still the windows to go in the Imprint chambers and a couple more weatherings and Bingo all is done.... Nice one RS for the reply she's real headstrong this bitch, she was lucky just over a year ago when she ran straight onto the road and was run over! she layed there for a while but thankfully it was nothing seriouse. I have tried everything with Bitch and I must admit I'm normaly pretty patient when it comes to this sort of stuff but she is something else expecially when she does one about 3 fields away. things are fine right up until a Hare gets up and she's off in hot pursuit, the other problem I would like to try and cure is her tendancy to range out too far? I'm saying I can cure this

I'm sure this one has been done over a good few times. I have been looking on this website at different Training Collars and their ranges and to be Honest have no idea what make or range that would suit my needs? I use a Brittany spaniel Bitch which is now 2 1/2 but I must admit although she is a cracking pointer she is a bit head strong in the field, for one she ranges out far to far! I can whistle or call until I'm blue in the face which falls on deaf ears. the other is them big furry Things that run forever <Hares>, she will chase these to a speck which is a big worry expecially w

I was going to take it out with us John but its a bit of lump to have hanging round the neck! I can't get used to this photography business mate its too complicated for me, the new camera has probably had about pic's blasted through it with about 79 that went in the scrap bin .... I'll get it out and have a play when things ease off a bit here.... Not many Slow worms about here Kay! the one's I have caught in the past was simular sort of habitat to the above Jasper

spending some quality time with the kids over the school holidays when my youngest picked up a slow worm while out for a trek, never caught or seen one for years so it was nice to see one in such nice healthy condition, sorry about the quality but it was taken with the camera phone.... Just to point out it was released totaly unharmed within seconds of the pictures taken Jasper

I'm sorry to hear such devastating news for you . it happend to me completely out of the blue a year or so ago with a close brother, It still hurts and I still think of him everyday but you slowly begin to cope over a period of time..... Life seems to get more cruel as we get older with nothing but hurt.......

Mark this is a little set up I used for a good few years on the little hawks like Spars and Merlins, Its a simular set up to what Gary pointed out but sometimes them Barrel type fishing swivels have a habit of snapping, its never happend to me but I have heard about this happening... All I use is a small swivel with a seas fishing clip used in a Boom Paternoster rig, you can get them for about 99p from fishing shops, it works on the same method slotting in a small punch hole of the jesses but pretty secure, the eyelets used too are the sail type with the 4.5Mil diameter and backing washer!
