  1. Hello Mate I had a little Whippet/Grey bitch that took a few for me on the lamp. She was an old second hand dog, and the only lurcher that I have ever had. But she did kill 3 for me over a few seasons - just ones that we come across when rabbiting with her. When I say kill I mean she held them until we got to her - sometimes letting them go then getting them again. She became really angry when she had one, not wanting to let go of it even when its was dead, but she was gentle with rabbits. She never actually lost one once she had hold of it. I am much more comfortable
  2. Hello Dave I had a dog Brit for 13 years and used him for Falconry. He was excellent at finding and pointing Pheasants but did work cover like a Springer would. I loved him and caught lots of game over him but I would not say he was a good bushing dog - me mate had a bitch that was the same. Both would point anything that sat, but would not enter large brambles that were difficult to work. A bit head strong too, but absolute tiresome hunters. Good luck Terry

They are very easy to train - my little bitch pionts muntjac and foxes but I have never trained her to do so. She will piont anything that sits for her !! Big up the GWP's !!! Terrys
