Many years back there was a lady called Doris stokes who used to practice this craft in front of large audiences, she had them captivated as she would pull people randomly out of the Audience and describe and give messages to them from former deceased people or relatives. now this lady was so convincing she said on her death bed she would return to other Mediums and prove to everyone that so called life after death was real, to this date as far as I know she never has , what do you reckon people! are these people for real or is it mind games or whatever? Does anyone remember the old Webley MKlll? they was a under lever and loaded under the Barrel but certainly had a fair punch to them, alot of the BSF range of guns also blitzed the 12ft/lbs limit straight out of the box.... Cheers Jasper

If it was a springer it could well be scope creep! but it sounds like the scope somehow is being knocked out of alignment! a good few years ago TASCO had a sighting system called a TASCO SCOPE GUIDE, I set mine up on a old springer and set the cross hairs centre to the grid which was mounted on the end of the Barrel, I tapped the scope a couple of times and was shocked how much out of alignment it was knocked out, this gun was fitted with two seperate scope ring mounts which didn't help! things certainly improved when I fitted a one peice mount.... What I hate is a large percentage of gennuine British folk are sick and tired of the way Muslim extremists have come into this country on a free and planted in our NHS to actually care for us and families in times of poor health, its not just the NHS the shite is everywhere making plans as we speak to bring this country down and all the UK citizens with it. Those were the days hey mate , I read some of these posts and think back as if it was yesterday! to be Honest I'm still a real kid at heart and wish I could do it all over again and sit and laugh afterwards just like we did as kids . I remember we would also all meet up in a local wood and do pretty much as you mentioned and build two seperate dens in this big Blue bell wood and try our hardest to trash each others aswell as bombing each other with fir cones and acorns . Oh Gary now you're talking mate My brother had a Webley Hawk MK11 with screw in Barrells ! you could undo a little Allen grub screw on the top where the rear sight is mounted and unscrew the barrell, he had a .177 and .22 for this gun which could both be changed in a flash, the other thing I liked about it is the Auto safety catch which was engaged when you cocked the gun straight on your thumb above the pistol grip ... Just a couple of my Kids Barn Owl "Ozzy" taken by the sensational MOLLY when she and her beloved Millet was over for a few days! Moll weilds a camera with some conviction. the little barney is a cracker and will flit around and follow the kids backwards and forwards for tit bits, no documentation for these birds like a schedule 4, only a Article 10 requied.... Cracking Owls for Hares these are! Ozzy has many a time had one in each foot .... Cheers Jasper

I think you're right Simo! if you get on with it and hit well then the guns doing its job, there's plenty of enthasis put on expensive guns to Imprive accuracy and power! but I would certainly sacrifice some power for a gun I can I can get on with and hit well with, its normally the case it would be half the price too ... I have three old springers here now. a BSA Cadet Major .177 which is accurate as hell with its open sights, a BSA Cadet .177 that my lad plinks in the Garden with and a Webley Vulcan I picked up a good few years ago for a Tenner! they said the trigger was totally knacker

You're right mate! I know some good gennuine lads on there, and also a good Honest Mod on there <Kevin Massey> too! As I'm sure some others are who I'm not so familar with! All the Forums have Internet Warriors or experts which frankly spend more time posting than getting out there and doing it, I don't post as much as I could because this time of the year I'm flat out breeding the f*****g things to survive . Another one I remember is climbing these fecking great Haystacks about 20ft high around the farmland! one particular day the Farmer and some workers came Hammering across the fields after us so we all legged it into a Maze field which was huge! it was a bit scarey as a kid and I lost my bearings as the maze was so high you could'nt see over the top! all I could hear was shouting and people running by as I crouched shitting myself, it went on for what seemed like hours until I could see the glow of street lights in the distance, so I headed for them and escaped to the main road and home! incred
