You're right there Bob! there's far to many people getting accused as Anti's when they still trying hard to feel themselves around the site, there has obviousley been Anti's on the site but they normally out themselves in the end someway or another! There's some seriouse Hardcore hunters on the site who look after their own, its not long before a genuine Anti will fall foul of them and come unstuck....

Very good rickardo . It kills me when people say they won't fly this bird or that as they won't take any quarry, I suppose they think they're vegitarians in the wild . An old Falconer Bob Haddon used to fly a male Lugger at the black stuff many years ago and take them all the time.... Jasper

Ray Turner does some nice birds mate! the Grandmother to this Peregrine chick was a old Ray turner bird which sadly died this year at 12, the grandfather is a Mark Robb bird I broiugh back in 93, the pair chucked some crackers over the years they was together and I'm hopeing to carry this blood line through some Imprints I have kept back... Your Father got it right chubs! when we're kids we have no responsibilities and think lifes a bed of roses and we'll live forever, its funny how it all changes as we get older when life starts to crash around us! I'm obviousley supposed to be a big boy

I was always led to beleive that abnormal white feathers growing down on a bird was mainly down to a deficiency in diet, we used to pick up crows in their first year around one of the farms which could hardly fly with quite a few white feathers, the problem they had was these white feather didn't last long and was pretty brittle and full of fret marks, many had broken down to the main shaft! the only way these birds would survive was to take them home and give them a good moult out on a good diet for release... Having said that looking at the pic of the Ravens/Crows its freaky that she has

Many thanks Millet . The breeding season or should I say lack off was bad enough and then as you know a personal loss has just about pushed me over the edge, I'll come back to the real world some time soon but for now I have had more kickings than I can cope with and am in shut down mode.... Speak soon mate jasper

She's 10 Chubs! its Chris Soans old german bird "Mo", there's plenty of stuff written about her in some of the old BFC mags but she was retired due to a toe injury! I tried her here last year to see if I could get her to stand and like a gem she did and produced 6 eggs, she was bang on form again this year and stood like a good un.... Not a good year though due to trouble collecting semen from the males, 34 Gos eggs with not much to account for , the females was spot on and did the job but boy was it frustrateing when I had hardly any semen to Inseminate them, for some reason both Pairs wa

Cracking post Tallyho . Its a problem I had this year with a Goshawk! while she was laying she looked Haggard and pretty rough and also flicking food, while I was going in with her I could see the Plaque white lesion in the roof of her mouth and the tip of her tongure was white, thankfully I blitzed it useing FLAGYL antibiotic which was out of date by a year but it still did the job, after a week of this I could see the difference straight away. I'm blaming the Woodies sitting in the trees above the aviaries, I can't think how else she got it as I don't feed pigeon to the Goshawks very

I'll get his bike sorted when I can next engage my brain, at the moment I feel like someone has stuck a electric mixer in my skull and gave it a good wisk, everything that could have gone wrong probably has in the last couple of weeks ... Cheers Jasper

I brought my young lad a Bicycle last xmas which he has only now reached the age to ride on the Road, I took him for a cycle ride yesterday and he kept complaining about the gears clicking and not changing! it seems that when he selects 1st it holds it for a while and then clicks back into 2cnd, the bloody chain also comes off when he pedals backwards . I have looked on the Net but can't get my head round it with so many things cropping up here at the moment, can anyone please give me a easy straight forward idiots guide to how I can adjust these gears? I tried adjusting some cables but ha

Wilf I don't think Rooks do half the damage as a crow jay or Magpie. Rooks eat alot of seed and leather jackets and seldom take anything live compared to the above, a farmer near me had his keeper shoot out a rookery a few years back, not because they was causeing problems with the young game birds but mainly cause the guy was growing Leaks and the leather jackets was dug in to the roots of the veg, the rooks dug out his young leaks to get to the leather jackets and left the plant dead laying on top, apart from this they hardly did any harm apart to some cerial crops. There's not so many R

Meal worm is good stuff Moll when I had a few Jackdaws they hammered them, I also used a few fishing maggots and cryslis , every couple of days I banged in a couple of drops of Cod Liver Oil <Vitamin A> to boost their Imune system up a tad, Mashed wheatabix with egg is somthing else I used, includeing Boiled eggs! some DOC's if Millet still has any will also do them now and again lightly chopped... Pretty much anything and if you want to dig the Garden leather jackets will go down a treat ... Cheers Jasper

Nice one Gaz you're right mate! I had a Mercury in .177 and loved it and then loved on to the Mercury S afterwards, both guns was my pride and joy and accounted for many kills, I gave my Mercury S away when I was 18 to a lad who's brother commited suicide under the subway, I knew he liked Guns and could see him cracking up but the Gun brought him back to life again! its funny as I know another guy who still has it but he won't part with it..... I shot with Lads who was useing Webley Vulcan's, Jackals, and Airsporters and just about every other springer available at the time but for me

Its probably one of the better Car Hawking vids on the Market. One of the Gos's in the Vid called "Bart" I helped the guy who own it Chris Soans to turn into a semen donor last year and used him to Inseminate some German females, I have also used him again this year. The little Blonde haired lad in the Vid who looks like Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth has now turned to flying them Longwingy things, this was him last year when he came down with his Peregrine on a Mallard which it did well to take in near gale force winds....

I have always been a big fan of these guns ever since having a few from a teenager! I probably took more quarry out useing one of these guns than anything else I have owned, having said that when I was a lad I would be out pretty much every day which helps to tally up a good few head or quarry. Out of Interest does any one on the list still have one of these guns? If so can you let me know if you want to sell it, preferably in .177? Cheers Jasper
