Sorry lads I didn't know one was already up and running ...

Now Tony Bliar has gone :clapping:, whats your views on the new guy Mr Gordon Brown? for what its worth Here's my two peneths worth. The guy seems to be completley out of the same mould as Bliar in many ways so don't expect anything to get better cause it Won't!! neither of them could give a damn about Country sports as a whole so don't expect any support there either, the other thing we all need to remember is the X - Chancellor has been lieing to us for years with his Budgets and false economy so why should we beleive the garbige he comes out with now he's the PM.... Cheers Jasper

Cheers for the info lads , I speak to Derry Argue now and again and some of his advice and been invalueble! he gave me a couple of his Video's last year! one called "Bird Dog Basics" and the other "Game For Gundog Trainning" which consentrates mainly on the use of Bob White Quail as a trainning method! apparantly they give off a good game scent compared to Pigeons. When I first spoke to him and told him what dog I was getting his first words was "You'll have your hands full for the first 15 months" he was right!! this dog is Hyper with a capital H, having said that it has a strong pointing

I'm now going through grief from the missus to sell the Nav and get a Freelander TD4 , she reckons she hates going shopping in it, hates parking it as its too long for most spaces, and last night she told me someone called her a Butch Lesbo in the Aldi Carpark , not a bad idea that? she could bring her pal home with her then . Reading up on Freelanders they read like they do get a few problems expecially the pre 2000 models, does anyone else rate them or hate them?? Cheers Jasper

Tell me if I have got it right Gary? the end is basically the beggining! the Magpie takes the silver Live Bullet from the field and drops in into the lake which was then taken by the pike! the fisherman then caught the pike and placed it on a spit and the heat from the fire discharged the round taking him out.... clever stuff Gary and well filmed , not a bad pike either .... Cheers Jasper

I'll be Honest Millet I had to ask the guy twice if this was correct but he assured me it was, and as sure as hell he was right! he took into account that it has a NATS Imobilizer but that was it. it still seems cheap as the Missus is also another named driver aswell! but don't forget mate I'm a silly old twat now so they obviousley took that into account , I reckon the next time I'll be useing the pensioners insurance "SAGA" .... Cheers Jasper

Hows it going Moll Group 13 is pretty high Plus I found it difficult when I had the Pajero to get a decent quote from some companies due to it being a Import, so be a bit weary of some grey imports. The other thing I failed to mention to my Insurance company is if the motor had Bull Bars on or not! basically if you have a bang without declaring any extra's such as Bull bars then your Insurance can be void, make sure you cover all the corners when you insure your motor as they do anything not to cough up . this company gave me the best deal for the past 3 years with two different M

It sounds like its running slightly rich Simoman! but as you say its serviced regular so the Airfilter must have been changed, I'm no expert but perhaps the Pump may need slightly adjusting, the Missus uses this Nav twice a day backwards and forwards to the school plus a bit of shopping about the town and it still seems to bring back no less than 30 on a bad day! having said that perhaps mine is running too weak as I drove Millets and no doubt about it it had a bit more go when you put your boot down... Cheers Jasper

There's alot people of talked too and seen on the site who love the Landy Disco's! I must admit this or a Freelander td4 was very high on my shopping list before the Navara but I read on a site that there was a slight problem with drive gear and avoid one with high mileage! I'm now beggining to think this is shit as a lad I speak to at the boys school has one with over 130,000 on the clock and it still runs A1.... Cheers Jasper

	Classic Manning great stuff.......

So far I have owned two 4 x 4's!! a Mitsubishi Pajero which was excellent off road and smooth on Road but a bit thirsty, the Next one is a Navara! I'm pleased as punch with this motor which will generally do an average of the earley 30's MPG and up to the mids on a run, there plenty of room in the back but I havn't really tested it off road yet. If you could chose a 4 x 4 which is a good all rounder! a good off roader! returning a fairly decent MPG which suits all your needs!! which make and model would it be?

I have a Brittany which is now 13 months old, to be Honest its been scatty as hell but now seemed to have found some calm in itself so I now want to progress with its trainning, at first it pointed everything but has always bumped everything up after a few seconds without holding point, its also been a little rangey which I would like to cure and bring her in tighter, she knows all the basics and will WAIT and DROP but is still hell bent on running in on her points, any help would be gladly appreciated.... Cheers Jasper

Just a couple of Pre-Charge guns I had up until a couple of years back, Falcon Raptor Skeleton in .177 fitted with Tasco World Class 3.5 - 10 x 50 scope, and the other was a Webley Axsor .177 with the same scope....

I have 3 second clutch birds due to Hatch shortly which will be going back with the Harris parents which are sitting dummies for now.... I have been meaning to get back to you but My brother who I was really close to Died a couple of weeks back, since then everything has gone blank, I'm now picking up and getting it together again though mate but give me a shout or I'll bell you, if you fancy a second clutch female its no probs... Cracking stuff Chubs! how can anyone not love Accipiters, they have killer stamped through them like a stick of Rock.... I'm flightless this year as everything has to go to keep my head above water, two Finn x Germans <Male and Female> are back being P/R, both birds are accounted for but boy do I fancy the female! she won't be too big and if she takes after her mother she'll be a tremendouse hawk, the male on the other Hand has the Pedegree to be a out and out game killer.... Keep us posted about eve Jasper

You have all my sympathies Magwitch! your Father sounds like a good gennuine man and its hard to deal with such a loss. I never mentioned this on the site before but I layed my brother to rest on wednesday just gone, he died suddenly at the age of 54 the week before. when I had a phone call to say my Brother had died in his sleep I nearley collapsed! He was closer to me than my father and will be sadly missed by me, I should say he treat me more like a father than my gennuine Dad. when I arrived he was still there so I went up to see him, its a bit of a shock to him laying there and so

I have always used Hunters apart from one pair of boots from John Norris which lasted me about 3 mths, my last pair of Hunters after about 3 years gave way on the front sole! and cracked straight across the tread so this time I fancy somthing different... The Mucker Tay boots are in my price and look like a good hard wearing boot which I'll probably go for next time, anyone else on the list use them and how do they rate them?? Cheers Jasper
