  1. Kill 16 a nice flight and killed with a great cut. (Another accident)?
  2. Yes the telemetry and real time GPS will still work and it will give you the last known co ordinates also, when it gets a signal it will text you its co ordinates. If you lose signal in real time just follow the arrow to its last destination then you will usually pick up the signal when you get there. I would say its the best system on the market to actually find your bird and quickly. It tells you in real time if the bird is flying or sitting, altitude, speed and direction.
  3. The battery doesn't last long on the Marshall and the range isn't good. The micro is the only system that works anywhere in the world that has phone signal. It has a system that sends a text message with the gps co ordinates and it will take you there on google maps sat nav fashion, its a cracking system. It also has a normal telemetry system and a live gps system, so for all 3 systems to fail would be highly unlikey. It also has built in solar panels on the tag, and functions where you can put the tag to sleep from your phone at night to save battery etc. It really is a game changer. I have h
  4. Cheers ! This new microsensory system is a game changer. Had one day before yesterday a straight 600 metre flight and a kill. Today was a 3.5 mile track down, and that's how the crow flies.
  5. Had another today caught it out on the moor amongst a group of cattle.
  6. No mine is the microsensory itdoes a lot more than the Marshall tbh
  7. Its been a bit like it lately. Had to leave her out on Monday night up at 4.00 a.m retrieved at first light with a full crop of crow lol. Should be alright now as got my GPS back and running, as from today!
  8. Everything that could go wrong did, lol. First I tracked out the wrong way probably because the bird was still moving. Then my receiver batteries were going. I switched receivers to my new one and snapped the aerial off. Walked almost to the bird then all the way back to get truck to see if I had spare batteries in truck. Drove around to fields, luckily batteries had gained a bit of charge due to being switched off. Tracked into bird as quickly as I could before batteries quit on me. Then forgot my glove, found bird and had to take my shirt off and pick up bird on that, lol. To which she thoug
  9. Ah good craic I used to do site work for NBC many moons ago.
  10. Very nice what will you be flying them at?
  11. Oops from black stuff to white stuff!
  12. Always better to see one hawk working on its own, they always seem to put more effort in and you are reducing the chance of accidents. I certainly wouldn't house them together unless it was for breeding purposes, even then I have known the female to kill the male.
  13. Male's around 1lb 9 females 1lb 13 to 2lb
  14. If you want a Pere Gyr Saker my mate breeds some very good ones. She looks a cracker like a little Perlin. That sounds interesting would like to see that.
  15. Its the same with Crow's if there's a tree or a sheep lol they will take refuge in it or under it, anywhere they can. Do you have any pics of your mates little longwing sounds an interesting little bird? They are known to be gutsy little things. Have you decided what your getting yet?
  16. Just six mate, its difficult this time of year due to the amount of cover around and the erratic weather lol.
  17. One Sunday trying out new GPS system
  18. One Saturday tried taking refuge under a sheep.
  19. What sex are you thinking of getting? You won't be able to keep them together loose at flying weight.
  20. Just had a cracking flight a mid air bind right above my head I had to dive out of the way lol.
  21. Thank you! 1.5 and 1.75 miles but thats how the crow flies, a lot of searching to get it as we get a lot of signal bounce down here with the hills and valleys.
