I think that was what I paid for my second pair and they are an improvement on the earlier model. My first pair that stayed dry for 6 years had a lot of abuse on very wet ground and stood the test, I can't fault them.

These boots are very good and very comfortable I have had most makes of boots over the years and these have kept the water out the longest. Mine stayed dry for 6 good seasons. Bought another pair, and they are the only boots here that are still waterproof. Good value for money in my opinion. I treat mine with Meindl Sportwax, it makes the nu buck shiney like normal leather but according to the instructions also makes it stronger and more durable.

Managed to slip out for a quickie after work. Quick slip on the black stuff and missed it, was having a bit of a fly about getting some lift off the side of a hill. I just reached into the bag for the lure I looked up and thought what is that coming towards me across the hill? She rolled over and got her wings in tight, I heard an almighty crack and a squawk. The gull dropped stone dead, she rolled over and followed it to the ground, job done! Kill 24

As you can see by todays flights she had a good bit of exercise and a play about on the thermals.

Two flights today, good re call. The second flight was a good chase mounting high and ending with a cigar. Kill 22.

Just trying to get the most out of her before we lose the evenings. It's very addictive I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Three flights today, good re call once the quarry had put into cover. On the third flight I could feel that the bird was zoned into her quarry, taking a stealth approach, low level until they rose and took flight. She picked her target amongst the group and almost had a bind on the first strike. Keeping the pressure on all the way I could see that she was going to win this battle, the crow bailed towards the ground and she bound to him before he touched terra firma. A nice flight and number 21 was in the bag.

A cracking high ringing flight today which resulted in another kill in the rain. She went up out of sight into the clouds, result!

Quality footage, very professional and you can't beat Bass on light tackle there's nothing like it. -
They will pick one out of a huge flock and kill it, the others will mob them while the caught one is alive but once its dead they will leave it alone. They are a good deterrent for corvid thats why they are used on land fill sites and runways for bird clearance work.

With pursuit hawking thats the way it goes sometimes. Now and then the bird will chase its quarry over a hill and it will put into cover, it will then see another crow and give chase and go even further etc etc. Not always ideal but all part of it, the variables that can and do happen especially with high wind. As they say its a chance that you take. Other times it all happens right in front of you and you see the whole flight unfold ending in a cigar It can be very rewarding when it all comes together.
