Afghanistan is a lost cause and always will be unless a full military presence is in place forever and no government especially ours can afford that. Most people in this country can’t afford to lead by example as the government screw them for every penny in taxation as it is. I honestly think most people in the country actually do their bit for the better of the environment but when you’ve got a massive nation and super power like China ploughing on regardless we are just pissing in the wind.

We are an island why are we not getting out energy from tidal turbines. They turn when the tide comes in and they turn when the tide goes out. It’s a constant form of energy that can never run out.

This is all the emissions the uk is responsible for. Now when you compare that to China which are now responsible for nearly 30% of the emissions/co2 world wide then the uk is insignificant. Then you have to add brazil, India, Russia and the USA into the mix and until they do something then nothing matters.

So do all that even though the uk only produces 1% of the worlds co2. What’s the point in changing the way everybody lives when our impact on the planet literally makes no difference.

The UN can make as many climate change reports as it wants warning us of impending doom but this country counts for just 1% of the worlds carbon emissions China alone is responsible for 25% then you have India Brazil and Russia. China has 1089 coal fuelled power station and are building nearly 200 more so in reality if the whole of Britain went completely green with no fossil fuel no cars all turned veggie it would literarily make no difference whatsoever ……..
