rapid everytime bought a r10 had it two hours took it back to shop grouping was all over the place went on the bsa owners site and alot of people were having same probs its a pity cos there a lovely looking gun

well depends on the gen of nv a gen 1 i was only geting it up to bout 6x but geting better results just leaving it on 3x on the gen 3 i could take it up to 12x using a l3 laser

q5 800 lumen torches are brilliant for the price get one orderd you wont be disapointed beam goes bout250 to 300 yards iv put the red filter off the gl4 on mine for shooting bunys atb

the deben mini has 35w bulb in it i use mine with a 12v 7 amp battery doesnt matter [bANNED TEXT] amp the battery is as long as it 12volt but i wouldnt try puting bigger bulb in it but its your lamp atb

cree torches dont work with ir filters best get a n1000 or dipol l3 laser if your gona use it on gun and you have a gun lamp put ir filter on lamp iv got one on my deben mini atb

if your wanting to fit a 1x lens on your excelon they dont fit iv tryed

iv got the exelon 3x50 gen 1plus with a dipol l3 laser i use it for spotting and love it but i only paid £120 for nv second hand i think the one you have orderd are sumwere round the £1200 mark hope it justifys the price tag but iv no doubt you will be happy with it atb

the mag to big to put behind scope but you can put the yukon 1x or 2x lens on them there about £35 and a dsa then it be ok as an add on

iv got both and to me cant tell the difference on noise there both pretty quiete

looks like you got the hang of it already gary i use a mono to scan the field first just to spot bunnys gets a bit of a pain bringing the gun up all the time atb

iv just sold a merlin with dsa and a n1000 for £375 to be honest i found my cheeper d3mk a beter unit you can easy make a homemade dsa for the yukon iv done a few they look a bit rough but do the job let me no if you get a nvmt and you get stuck -

wouldnt go for baldies digi ad on for an airrifle the field of view to wide there good for longer distence shooting if your just starting out get a cheep yukon mvmt adon or a d3mk they a good little unit zini right about alot of nv having a auto shut off when hit by lites but be carefull -
ir filter are for use with nitevision if you put an ir filter on your lamp you wont see a thing
