    sorry fellas i will be at a disadvantage. i'm going to the midlands game fair on sunday and im going fishing tommorow so unless i manage to bag a woody when i get back from fishing you can count me out edited to say: i think i may have shot all the woodys in my garden cos i havnt seen one for about a week and i used to hear them flapping off every time i wnet up to feed the poults.

    lightinhg xl. now ive got a AA s400 and the lightning never gets used!

    lightning xl is in .22 and s400 (which is all i hunt with now) is in .177. but if you hit a rabbit behind the eye with a pellet at 40 yrds with a rifle above 10ftibs then it will kill no matter what calibre it is

    please, please, please dont start a .177 vs .22! if you can hit an area the size of a pigeons head and neck at 50 yrds the go for it!

    quarry first! i wouldent attempt that. if you can achieve a head/neck shot on a pigeon at 40 yrds then stick with that. body shots dont kill every time. you have to remember a pigeon has just been eating grain and a pigeron with a full crop is like a bullet proof vest. if youre not sure, don't take the shot mate

    you know what, i was looking at rowan engineering just yesterday at there multi shot conversion kit and was thinking exactly the same thought as you, "could i get this made cheaper?" TBH mate, i dont really know so this probably isnt much help sorry!

    well im going bunny bashing tonight so i should get my first non mixy rabbit with it or even a woody if im lucky. its just i was shooting indavidual berries off a blackberry bush this morning at 25 yrds this morning, just watching them explode...i am amazed at the accuracy but not sure about the power because i havent tested it well enough yet, it can co through a tin can...
