    hears one i saw once: genuine harrys bipod, 6-9". it was a fake by the look of it, cheap japanese bipod going for £20.

    good shooting mate! id love to get a pod for my gun but at the moment im using a camp stool and im quite easily getting 0.5" groups at 30 yrds, i love my s400...

    what about H&N field target trophy? 1 hole groups at 30 yrds with my s400. will report tommorow about how good there stopping power is!

    is this still for sale? how many shots do you get per fill? would it be suitable for dispatching squirrels in traps?

    sorry fo hijacking your post bluemink but what pistols are suitable for close range hunting and dispatching squirrels in traps. it needs to be quite cheap as well. i was thinking of buying a crosman pump pistol or an old sprin powered weirhauch pistol?

    phantom, ask around as people have problems with squirrels in there lofts and it can provide a valuable service to them and you could get your first squirrel!

    very good shooting paul! i need to get the thumbhole stock for my s400 as it looks so good! i use the air arms silencer on mine and find it quite quiet, but i see you have got a different silencer than me? is it better than the air arms or do you not know?

    i hunt flies in my spare time. don't even need to put a pellet in the s400, the blast of air will kill them if you stalk close enough! but you've got to aim a bit in front of them when there flying! hyperion, you've put a whole new meaning to using a magazine to kill a spider, lo! bit extreme emptying a couple of mags under your bed for a spider! i saw the can with tow holes in it before i read the post and thought 'bloody hell, is the spider really big enough to put those bite marks in it???'

    i love the thumbhole stock on you s410! im thinking of getting a bipod formy s400, i've been asking this question to everybody who owns an air arms but which is best for prone shooting at bunnys, 6-9" or 9-13"?

    nice shooting hyp! 20 SQUIZERS?? blimy your doing well! they are hard to skin but are quite tasty.

    ok cheers hyp, my s400 holds about good shots anyway! only had a mixy rabbit with it the s400 so far but the cage traps i have set are too good and i dont have hardly any squirrels to stalk now!

    fair enough! i have a s400 clasic as you can see in my avatar and i get about 90 good shots out of it. i would highly reccomend them as they are deadly accurate and fit perfectly. one bit of advise if you are going to buy one get the AA silencer too as they produce a loud crack if you dont! also, with the silencer the classic is a bit long for me (5ft and 13 years old) but will be fine for anyone taller! i like the fact that its long the because i do a lot of 'sit and wait ' shooting and you can stick your barrel right out of the hide/bush and wont be seen.

    i eat all squirrels. last one i had i skinned and gutted and wanted a reall quick meal for one so i covered it in BBQ sauce and shoved it in the oven it was delicous. i won't kill something if i cant eat it (with the exception of rats and feral of course )
