  1. o am in the same dilema as you bill. i have tried the ultra and i didnt like the cocking system. the falcon has much better looks than the ultra. the falcon has the higher shot count. bsa stocks do not fit me as well as other stocks. although i have never toucjed a falcon lighthunter they look comfy. you can get the lighthunter in either bull barrel or normal barrels. thats why i did a poll about bullbarrels to see what they were like. for me its either going to be a falcon lighthunter or air arms s410 tdr.
  2. an s400 is single shot lamping rabbit. the s410 is the ten shot version. i can highly recommend these. very accurate and easy to operate clean and fill. as you can see from my previous kills the accuracy is spot on and in .177 i can shoot right out to 50 metres accurately with it.
  3. hi all, just a quick poll. i have used a BSA scorpion bullbarrel and i have to say it was not as effective as my moderated Air Arms s400. which guns have you found have good bull barrels (integral silencers)? part of the reason i ask is because im looking for a light pcp and one gun which has caught my eye is a falcon lighthunter bullbarrel. it looks nice but will that bullbarrel have as much effect as a dedicated silencer? 4. very good bag! have you tried that falcon lighthunter? what are they like?
  5. nice guns!i wish i could afford a daystate mk4! tried one at the midland gamefair 'have-a-go'stand. s
  6. derr we know that just look at it closer the scope cam is on the bunnies then the bloke tells his mate to shoot ..the one with the scope cam is not fired...it's a gen shot..a fluke but a gen.you can see both bunnies sit next to each other when he shoots ffs. tah aaronpiglicker my bad.
  7. there was another .22 rimmy out of shot.
  8. excelletn shooting all of you! very well done rob, looks like that hw100 is doing well for you. i've been thinking of getting a lighthunter for a while and it looks like they do the job ok.
  9. good shooting mate! static sniping is my favourite way to shoot bunnys. tip mate-if your rabbit is moving its head and you can't get a shot let out aa small squeak and it will stand up alert. then you can take the shot.
  10. i bet your mate wouldent be so angry if you took it to the rspca, causing a wild bird a lot of stress and even more suffering, where they tell you there is nothing they can do and they uthanised it. this is what happnd to a black bird with a broken wing in my garden a few months ago.
  11. sorry me not wording i correctly i meant airgunners only go for headshots so how could pellet fragments contaminate meat.
  12. how long is the blade, i cant tell in the pic. i'm intrested BTW.
  13. good days shooting! i like that stock, AAtx200?
  14. silencers are only useful on pcps in my opinion as a silenced springers are still quite loud and wil scare quarry off if you miss.with my silenced s400 i have missed a woody by a cm but it didnt fly off because of the silencer and aloud me to get in a second shot.
  15. i'm not sure but i think deer shooting bullets are designed to break up and cause maximum damage. i have never found a pellet still in mmy quarry and if you are doing head shots only how can this put lead in the meat?
  16. nice guns but names?i think bottom is hw100kt, middle is a daystate and top is a daystate harrier...?
  17. wow! your doing well, are all the woodys around your area city pigeons? very well done.
  18. nice shooting mate! i have 14 woody breasts in the freezer myself, i prefer to hunt and eat them much more than rabbits. they fly off if they see someone with a gun from 100 yrds away and even if you do get close enough to them, when they are feeding on ivy berreis they are a chalenge to shoot as they never keep their heads still apart from when they're roosting. good luck with getting your first woody phant! heres an odd law on the general license for woodys, nobody litsens to it though: "you cannot shoot a wood pigeon on the ground unless they are activle destroying crops"
  19. nice shooting mate! how are you finding the xl tactical?
  20. i'll try that davy but i don't need it. we hyave very little industriel farming around me so the woodys get at whatever they can and ivy berreis seem to be a firm favourite
  21. Yeah, thanks for not rubbing it in my facetoo much.... good shooting
