    ya think you made your own choice, from what i heard can make good x, dont rush into gettin pup, find good working parents, pup brought up well. watever you do dont rush the pup, you dont want it chasing any quarry till its totally matured phsyically and mentally. good luck

    there is a nice working, house trained whippet dog, 23tts on preloved i think for sale. been worked on lamp and with ferrets. be good if wanted one already working.

    i think as dan says best results, for training, stock breaking and learning to control speed, be from having from pup and bringin on as a lurcher pup, but fencehopper got good working ex track. pm him or he might comment when he comes on here

    have you any pics of the pup? ive got old 20 month 1stx col whip very sensitive and clever, but knows im boss and does what told. tellin off to bad aint going do any good, it aint a gundog. try get pups attention when you see other people and get it in close before legs it off, then could always walk it over to socalise and get a play, when you want. cheers

    lucky there bird, my 1st x col whip thinks shes a guard dog and hates strangers, barks alot.does my head in sometimes, getting better. your dog seems no his job already. keep it up

    the roads i did it on were proper country roads/farm tracks. so no other cars about and like when on bike on roads where mite occasionally see car, is single road so pull over on grass, dogs stays to the lefthand side.
