    easy done mate. forgot put block usually put on ferret run nest box must pushed it up. luckily they walked about 30ft inside to there hutch where i found them on top of it. real lucky my chickens were wonderin about and could gone for freedom in surrounding fields. there not stupid.

    only been beating four weeks but where i go keeper got gwp x wired haired vizla i no its not lab but its an amazing dog. it has so much stamina is unreal. my favourite dog up there except mine.

    ive got the blitz is to big for hiding away in bag etc probaly be ok if lamping from car. wish i got striker variable few more quid but worth it.

    went shut my chickens earlier and one of my barnervelder hens was sat on floor with her legs under her tried help her up just fell over, ate little out my hand, what can cause this? is there anything i can do? just her in box with straw at the moment cheers

    just thought how got on taking my lurcher beating. went yesterday morning kept her on long lead till last two drives when game keeper said she seems ok to let off. kept her close and kept calling her back done really well for first time. all the beaters were impressed with her. going again next week where she will be off lead most the day. was a beddy whippet there which nailed a pheasant straight away and later caught rabbit. seen about 6 deer and 1 hare. there were men that been beating for years which kept there dogs on lead allday. 1 springer pegged 4 pheasants.     im no expert YET. keep the dog on slip saying your magic word ie rabbit and walk up to the squatter get as close as can, the rabbit will get up and slip the dog. hopefully dog will catch it. goodluck

    wasnt expecting that many replies. prob give it ago next week. think will be good exercise for her, will start her on lead till confident with her, its with mrs dad who invited me said my lurcher be ok. apparently someone takes a greyhound that chases all deer and long ears it sees, says gives people a laugh dont think is a posh one. and no few sound blokes up there. think she will be ok. have called her off few things before. will let everyone no how got on. shes only little collie whippet who pretty much does whats she told. wish me luck

    My father in law went up and got one one fri, 8 hour round trip too. cracking pup , very healthy , full of beans. St Bernard get a grip mate ! seen this pup aswell is a good healthy chunky pup. i see where your coming from pip. the dam does look like beethoven. what planet you on?

    jabs last time cost me 15quid each, cheapest could find locally, how long will take her to come out season then? at what hob kit ready to be snipped?

    ive got 2 jills which came in season about 4 months ago, got them took out by injection at vets, but just noticed 1 has come in season again, i have a hob kit which was hoping to get vacs when was old enough, so wouldnt have keep getting injections done. at what age can i get him done? will my other jill come in season again aswell? what age will kit hob be sexually mature? cheers

    iv got a collie whippet first cross, think it would be a good cross for you or maybe go for a 3/4 whippet 1/4 collie. she has been around my young neice from a pup and is great with her.
