    whippet99 i have to confess to doing it down real quiet country lanes by my house few times, my bitch stays 20ft behind on the left running on the grass and listens to things that tell her to do,would never do with a lead. done it sat in mrs boot with boot open while she drivin so she can concetrate on road and i control speed by watching dog and telling her to slow etc. only way can get her proper panting is wicked fitness. she will run forever next to bike as fast as i can ride wont puff atall.

    im in north somerset to, theres hares about if no where to look. but it aint no fens, fields are tiny. most i seen on lamp is 12, only out hour aswell, numbers do seemed to be dropping last few months. hope poachers hant found my spots. lol. where abouts you live chewton?

    adam20 same here my little collie whippet has yapped a few times in woodland whilst tracking bambis but thats it not while chasing anything in open. since she was young used take her out mooching with my mate in woodlands alot, with a jrt that opens up big time while chasing not sure if she copied her.

    My mrs dad has had working springers and labs all his life, and it is time for him to get a new pup and has decided is going try a gwp, was hoping people could put few pictures up of working gwps so i can show him? cheers

    had look at pictures of other peoples on here and realised wires were wrong way round tried again and got it sorted. have gave it ago its too quick how do i slow it down? want something to control the speed? and need put on off switch, which not got clue how to do? ya was off ebay.

    cheapest i found was £130 from optic warehouse.

    you wont regret it mate, there quality so light, got mine on belt, dont no its there, power seems the same, only prob is power will go without warning, so little torch def a good idea.

    Your friend got be pulling your leg. The shooters might share a sip of sloe etc but thats it. they are all competetive and pay a few quid to shoot so would not ruin it by being pissed. never heard of a special jacket, most people where something waterproof and strong so does not get ripped on brambles etc. no one will fire anywhere near you or the dog. Just go for it let us know how you get on

    Ive only been beatin for 5 weeks, but the beat i go on is pretty chilled out and everyone pretty helpful, had my little collie whippet on lead first time more for me to learn the ropes.recall real important, also walking at heel is good is awkward tryin make way round with dog on lead and broken to pheasants, deer, hares and whatever your dog might want to chase. think the stop command most important. as someone already said get your dog used to going 20 feet then call back to heel. eventually will keep looking back for you to make eye contact. hope this helped only learning myself. is great w

    no mate, wish i did me and my brother were really interested in the two blue bitch pups, next time looked were gone. what height you think she will make? she has turned out even better that thought she would. you think she would have enough gas for long ears if the ban was lifted?
