    Like watawolleper says mate because she had some lookers she thought she should win,none of them grafted and a good few times they would have 1 knacker or undershot.But she thought there was nowt wrong with that.She was from the borders mate but sometimes a stroppy f****r

    The 1 he had years ago used to do what it did out ferreting and always came back with its catch,give him it a feck off again and it done that all day.The keeper used to love watching him work

    His last 1 put some work in but he does a lot of ferreting and moors so the breed suits him,he has that much land to go at and he has had different breeds over the years to do the same work.These will be his last lurches now and will see him out mate

    Just been down my mates to finish installing and lineing his kennels out.His pups are like donkeys now 25yrs and 8mths old but nice things.

    They are lively fookers as pups mate and into everything just like any other terrier but they adapt to any life style and can be hard workers to.Ive laughed over the years on here on the border threads saying they don’t graft till they are 3yrs old.Thats because they have listened to the village idiots who have never had 1 or probably seen 1 graft.Treat them like ya normal terriers and get them out on rats from 6mths old and following ya other dogs and they will be dug to from a year old if brought in right mate.Ive had them for 35yrs now and hard so thats to hard like any other terrier even f

    I dug for years with them mate but more now for mooching and coming to work with me on rat jobs.But if I’m out and they self enter I will dig to them

    If you look on previous thread you will see the ones I built before my split and they were cool in summer and warm in winter mate.

    Build indoor kennels mate with double glazed patio doors on so ya can leave them open in the summer months,but closed draft free in the winter

    They are getting there now can’t wait to get them up the mountains on a good hike.Ive had them out mooching so they are getting a few scents into them

    She took a huff with when I was judging as she could only get 3rd every time,I said if ya put a dog in with 2 balls and a straight mouth ya might get higher up the ladder.She didn’t like that as she thought she should win because of who she was.Didn’t realise I judge the dog and not the person
