  1. Longbow is a fine rifle but won't be as accurate as your Axsor. They're not too bad with recoil so the only reason to replace your mounts will be if they're shit in the first place.
  2. Great shot Paul. Welcome to the forum!
  3. I can't find the shop where Fellman get's his jackets from...
  4. In addition to the above could I please urge all members to think before they add a reply to any of the threads on this forum. If they're going to lie about snaring in the press and print copyrighted images as part of their agenda then there is no depth they won't stoop to. This forum can only function through it's members. It's up to you to help police it and keep it running in a way that it'll be still here for years to come. I really like The Hunting Life. My kids read through it and I've met alot of people and made many good friends from here. It would be a shame if all that we
  5. Don't forget the extreme anal insertions for Regimental pride/rites of passage/fun... You never tell the full story do you... Nice one mate catch up with you soon. P.S That plain cover package you sent to me by mistake was sent back.
  6. Like everything else it all depends on how much money you have to spend. As for the law on 'gas guns' you'll have to be much more specific.
  7. The B2 and B3 are made in China by convicts. As a result you won't be able to do the factory tour unless you want to smuggle some crack into Beijing. That way you'll probably learn how to make them. The guns are little better than scrap. The quality is poor and and finish is even worse. If you want a rifle that averages around half the power of decent rifle then feel free to buy one. You might be one of the very lucky few that gets a rifle putting out more than 7-8ft/lbs but I wouldn't pin my hopes on the 'Military Surplus Lottery'. Some advertise them as Full Power. They're not.
  8. Shit. Don't touch those cheap chinese rifles with a barge pole.
  9. Early 's? Illusions of grandeur...
  10. I had an extensive test of the Logun S16 and I couldn't get on with it. The rifle is over engineered which translates to thick c**** like me having to study the instructions before taking the rifle out. My first day with the S16 and I managed to get 7 pellets stuck up the barrel because I couldn't get used to the 'half cocking' action on the rifle. If the choice was mine I'd go with the Theoben.
  11. Never done a straight barrel swap on an HW77 so I couldn't tell you exactly how easy/difficult it is. That's a question that maybe Baldie could answer?
  12. No worries Gav. If you did a straight barrel swap then the rifle would be overpowered.
  13. No. I'm saying that the legal power of a stock HW77 is around 12ft/lbs regardless of the calibre. A barrel swap will make the rifle over powered unless it's on an FAC. I said in the original reply that if the job is done by a decent gunsmith the rifle will be sorted so that the power is the same as a stock HW77. I've said nothing about the muzzle velocity.
  14. If you do a proper conversion for the rifle and it isn't being FAC'd it will be around the 12ft/lbs mark. The power will be the same regardless of calibre.
  15. Pic ain't working. Send me the link and I'll edit your post!
  16. I've read a fair bit about Milosevic, since the Balkan wars, and I've never seen anything to suggest he was a tyrant to his own. Then again I wouldn't call him a hero either. Lost 4 wars in 13 years and wouldn't surrender despite a popular uprising. He died whilst giving evidence on atrocities, in really dubious circumstances, and now the trial will never resume. I still believe he was held up in a kangaroo court, because he wouldn't put Serbia up for sale, and the US/UK weren't happy about eastern european nations trying to hang onto communism. Not possible? Look at the shit that's being
  17. Webley are now in receivership... Have a look at an Air Arms instead...
  18. A calibre swap and a tune, from a decent gunsmith, won't effect power in the slightest.
  19. I also prefer the Rapid magazines to the BSA. .177 is a 17 shot mag too.
  20. If it's a choice of the two I'd take the Rapid. I prefer the design to the S10.
  21. The 300 series was superceded by the 400 series. Nice rifles but be warned. Parts are getting harder and harder to get hold of. Nothing against them but I'd rather go with the S400 series as they're a better rifles, in my opinion.
  22. Members please take note of these seasons before you decide to post stories/pictures of your exploits.
