  1. Right! That's me never setting foot inside the place again... Maybe they should look at the conditions of their meat processing factories before they start on deer stalking... :realmad:
  2. Fair comment Joe but it's like the chicken and the egg. The only way decent candidates come forward is when enough people kick up f**k because of the shit that's available... that isn't happening anymore. I agree that there isn't any distinguishing features between the government and the opposition. Never will be until enough people actually exercise their rights in this democracy. The less people actually turn out the more these shower of b*****ds can get away with. Not voting is accepting your lot and allowing these people to do what they wish. They will continue to make laws that restri
  3. The mess we're in is because people don't vote!
  4. You've got to be in it to win it. I suppose when we're all paying for health care and education. £3 a litre at the pumps and we've got a record number of unemployed you'll just shrug and say it ain't your problem? I'd rather people vote BNP than not at all! One group is proposing a law on compulsory voting. Sounds good to me either that or wait until we've got a Chinese style democracy!
  5. It never ceases to amaze me that people can't be bothered to vote.
  6. Chilli. You'll see some bargains in the Exchange and Mart. 2nd hand gunsafes don't go for much.
  7. Maybe it is but these parties are so similar that it doesn't make much difference. One stand out issue is all takes. If you want to hunt legally, again, your best chance is with the Conservatives, despite all their faults. A vote for anyone else is a waste.
  8. They all make promises and don't keep them. Why are people so convinced that the BNP will do the same? More to the point are you willing to wait the length of time it takes to see them actually gain power, if they ever do? Best shot at a repeal is the Tories but don't expect it if/when they are elected. Alot of them voted for the Hunting Act too.
  9. How is your Pro Sport fairing up, these days?
  10. f****n hit me with a shovel I'm actually agreeing with Chilli.
  11. I see the BNP going from strength to strength. They're gathering support but not as fast as they'd like us all to think. Getting them elected is one thing but will they keep their promises? No other politician has so what makes these people different?
  12. I'm not arguing with ya, Chilli. I'm tellin ya what is actually happening the length and breadth of the country! I see it everyday. Just look at the number of Polish number plates parked up outside warehouses and packaging plants. I can't name names but one firm won't let it's English staff work weekends because the Poles will do it for standard rate. They're earning fortunes (in their money) and work as many hours as they can before their permits run out. If there was no financial incentive to employ eastern european labour then they wouldn't do it! Since when has anyone here ever given a f**
  13. Who says anything about major production? What about warehouse staff? Truck drivers? Food packaging outlets? They're all laying off British staff so they don't have to pay them minimum wage. They're taking on Eastern Europeans so they don't have to offer them fair rates, holiday packages or sick pay. 6 of my biggest contracts have all laid people off in the last 6 months. 4 of them have laid off % of their workforce and taken on Eastern European labour because it's cheaper. They work longer hours and don't complain about the job because they can earn more in a week than they can at home in a q
  14. Sad read that. I've been to quite a few factories where they're laying off the Brits at £5 an hour and employing Poles at £2.50-£3 an hour. This isn't the Poles fault it's our 'booming economy' If British business were forced to pay the Polish labour force the same rate as the British labour force then there wouldn't be any incentive to employ cheap Eastern European labour. As a result they wouldn't be coming over by the wagon load. You can't have it both ways. If you want cheap stuff you have to drive down costs.
  15. That lad that gave me a lift to the Midland had it's phone number...
  16. Ace guns Rob but finding a decent one is rarer than Millet's left hand walnut Air Arms! Of course it goes without saying that all modifications that up the power over 12ft/lbs require an FAC.
  17. It's not really an Ebay tale but I got a lift down to the Midland off this lad and his wagon was full of really strange porn mags. In a similar twist he mentioned how it was accidentally sent to him at work and he was simply transporting it to the recycling bin at the motorway service station. I would imagine this lad would know of those kind of transactions. I'll ask him to post a few stories when he gets 5 minutes.

  19. There's no thread... has it been deleted?
  20. Go to an optician and check to see if you're able to have them. They'll test your eyes to make sure you're suitable. I played tight and loose head and apart from losing a few lenses here and there I had no problems apart from that. They're piss easy to clean and maintain and after a couple of days wear you'll wonder how you went on without them. The only problem I had playing rugby was if that if I lost a lens it completely screwed my depth perception... well that was my excuse anyway!
  21. Sounds about right that mate. Main thing is you're up and shooting again. You'll have to tell us some lies now about how much you're taking with that excellent rifle!
