I disagree. I think there is a world of difference between someone telling lies and someone raping children. These people told lies. They didn't blow anything up. If they did then they're no better. Until they do they're bullshitters. If you think people should be shot for bullshitting then you'd wipe out % of this forums membership.

I've had 7 ft/lbs with both and that was in a centrally heated room. King and Standard. After 10 shots on the standard the power dropped by 0.5ft/lbs, per shot, until it ran out. The King had about 30 shots before it started losing power and it was in smaller increments. 0.1 at a time.

Ratcatchers are fine for short range vermin control. Yes they only put out a maximum of about 7ft/lbs, but that's more than enough for err.... catching rats. Not an ideal tool for vermin control but it has it's place. EDIT: It's also worth knowing that current airgun law prohibits the shooter allowing pellets to leave the boundary of the property. That means using a 12ft/lbs air rifle, within the confines of a small area could be both illegal and extremely dangerous.

The Arsepca want the public to be so upset, by the thought of traps, that they will report everything and anything they come across, and then vote to have them banned. The type of trap is unimportant, to the Arsepca. It's the fact that they kill animals. The irony being that they kill hundreds, of animals, a week in their own establishments. The Arsepca are not our friends. Their political meddling helped the hunting ban hit the statute. Expose them any way you can. When they f**k up, post it here.

I would support a move to make classified users subsidise the site. You want to sell or you want to buy. You pay. I would not support a move to make pay per view. Firstly, because the current quality is awful. Secondly because admin would be raking in money and there are enough grasses here to make the Inland Revenue his shadow. The idea is to make less hassle for IanB, and the moderating team, and to make the forum a much more enjoyable place to be.

I hear ya Jasper but how do you sift through the shit? With the sheer amount of posts going in, on a daily basis, the mods can't keep up. This forum is at the top of most search engines and with that comes notoriety for which ever reason you care to go into. Locking a forum as big as this would be zero change in what it is now. It just means that you have to go through an extra screen. I read alot more than I post these days because of the political situation in the UK. There are a vast number of people here that aren't hunters. Will never be hunters, and are here with a separate agend

You know why Ditch! Because it would mean deleting over 4000 members and over 300,000 posts. He, along with alot of the original and current moddys, don't want to spend their entire lives wading through ton, after metric ton, of shit from people who can not and will not shut the f**k up!
