  1. I agree. Keep it light because a 2000 post bitch fest is getting binned by me. Say your piece but FFS don't drag the whole forum down the same way it dragged down the Original smoochers, smoochers 2, smoochers 3 etc... It's f*****g embarassing.
  2. Post us a link if you can... the more that know the better.
  3. It's about time one of the idle b*****ds got a real job. Besides it's probably a ploy to get him home to grandma...
  4. That's what makes us better than the savages. The fact that we have rules of engagement. Internationally recognised systems of fair play. If we wish to be perceived as true and just then we uphold this, no matter what the enemy stoop to. If we do it the way they do then we're no better.
  5. I did it. Complaints were made. 3 posts were removed. Simple.
  6. As you wouldn't heed the warning, thread closed.
  7. Try a few quality roundhead pellets. Accupell, F&T Trophy, AA Field etc... see what works best. Air Arms rifles are set up with AA pellets so bear that in mind also.

  9. Good ideas! I think rifle reviews are separate from an FAQ but if you've got a burning desire to review a product and not pull any punches then write away! That's what we're here for. Anything that improves the quality of the forum has got to be a good thing and decent rifle review would be far better than some of the sniping comments that have been made, in other sections.
  10. We're getting a lot of new members asking what gun to buy and what's the best etc etc. No problem in that at all it's just that a lot of the same stuff is getting recycled and all the posts are reading the same. So how about an air rifle FAQ or some kind of buying guide for a sticky? What do you reckon? What should be included in this sort of comprehensive guide? I'll compile all the good ideas into a post and sticky it to the forum for anyone/everyone to browse at their leisure. Sure it won't stop newbies coming in and asking the same question but a link is much easier to
  11. No worries Rocks. We kinda gathered it's tongue in cheek especially as your mum's cooking would probably spoil somewhere in transit. Problem is we have legal requirements, in the UK, and as far as not lawful goes your post falls into the all of the above category. Killing it is a straightforward process. Killing it legally, quickly and humanely is dependant on many variable circumstances in the UK.
  12. He's in an urban area so shooting is a no no. He says he's got a live trap. Which is good but what next? Has he got somewhere to take it to dispose of the pest? It's all well and good live catching but how do you write the epilogue to this particular vulpine?
  13. Live catch yeah, but what then? Where do you relocate it to? Do you have permission to take it to where it can be legally dispatched?
  14. Went through some of the old bookmarks and found !! I still want one!
  15. Not a bad idea that TSA. I've seen it work in rural settings but in an urban environment? Might be worth a shot.
  16. Yeah. The sad fact is that Britain is a nation of f****d up hypocrites. We eat supermarket meat and complain the second everything with a furry tail is killed, and call it animal cruelty. Keep us posted on your set up. If it works for you it might be something others can use in the future.
  17. I hear ya there. I've worked in pest control for a long time, did a stint in the Stoke On Trent area too! As far as urban fox control goes it's extremely difficult to legally sort out which is why I always try and talk prevention. There are thousands of members on this site. Maybe someone who's had a similar problem can advise you? I certainly don't know everything there is to know about fox control and maybe someone else can offer a more practical solution.
  18. Seriously look at proofing the damn thing out. An ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure. Is there any way it can get into your aviary? If so is there anyway you can keep it out? You'll know how it's getting in so what do you reckon?
  19. This is polite request to "wind in your necks." It's late. I'm tired but I will lock this thread if you don't keep it civil.
  20. Let's look at your legal options. 1. You cannot poison a fox. 2. You cannot use a firearm in a built up area. 3. You cannot use your dog to catch the fox. 4. You cannot use Renardine to attempt to repel the fox. 5. DEFRA's Snaring Code Of Practice says "Snares must not be set on or near public footpaths, rights of way, near housing and areas regularly used for exercising domestic animals to avoid capturing pets." 6. You can live trap the animal, but then you have to dispatch it on site. This causes problems with number 2. Did I miss anything? Your options are limited. What ste
