    my last bullx 1 /4 bull 3/4 grey, was good on fox, but good on rabbits as well,didnt crunch them. I would give your colliex a good go 1st, then have a think about it, as i said it can be hard getting enough proper work for 2 dogs I"d agree with this my old dog greyhound/colliegreyhound x saluki took plenty of stuff that bit back but was soft mouthed on rabbits never crunched them and all where returned live to hand

    I"m sure you"ll catch the odd one or two on the run with him but I suspect he could make a good ferreting companion using his nose and brain to be in the right place,also as has been said he may pick a few up on the lamp I"ve seen borders used in this manner before and they can do ok

    Lots of factors to take into account here,time of year, dog/bitch,type of land so many things could make a big difference

    I don"t know Nigel personally but I do know he works his dogs week in week out in all weathers and conditions mainly on rabbits but thats what Nigels into and with good results, a mate of mine has a dog from Nigel, he ferrets it,lamps it and mooches daytime and it is capable of bigger stuff and yes I have seen this dog run and he"s a fine stamp of a dog. Nigel doesn"t have to blow his own trumpet his dogs do it for him out in the field and as to regards working on rough ground his dogs work in the fells and dales where at times its pretty rough

    Well done mate,its good sport just bolting for your dog,you maybe don"t catch as many but it"s not allways about numbers

    You can buy one of these leads from most pet shop,sits around your wrist and doesn"t slip off and you have a propper handle to hold so no false slips Just slips under collar as you would using a bit of rope etc

    Greyhound/colliegreyhound x saluki this dog was just a dream and took everything on board so easily,what I"d give to have him back in my kennels today
