Fly fishing ...id be bored out my skull !!.....im trying to go from high energy explosive hobbies to more relaxed and gentle hobbies.....but i dont want to completely cease up !! My pal phoned earlier and asked if i want a set of lawn bowls for my birthday ....whats the world coming to !
-
Probably a bit of both...i dont mind being crap as long as being crap inspires me to get better.....but it didnt....i thought the whole ordeal was rather pointless.....the company didnt help i must admit i thought it might be a bit of a giggle but these chaps took it awful serious....we live and learn i guess.

I was 3rd = 141 The other fellas scored 103 and 88..............felt like wrapping a club round their skinny little necks

For me the proudest moment within the home would be knowing that having grown up in squalor and poverty in one of the poorest parts of east london i got my kids out into a beautiful home with a great education and set them up in buiseness so that they would never have to do some of the shit i did ! Proudest moments outside the home was never letting a lack of natural ability ever stop me achieving the sporting goals i set myself. As a wise old man once told me " son,the hardest fights you ever have in life will be those when you are matched into yourself "...the words of Mr.Ronnie Bart

Just made my debut on a golf course today and had a pair of knob ends driving me mad all day talking absolute bollocks about the most boring shitty subjects possible.....and golfs sposed to be relaxing f**k me i feel like going on a killing spree !....
-
Well...had my first round of golf today, what a carry on ....apart from the fact i was absolutely useless the 2 fellas i played with were a pair of boring b*****ds and even the chat was shit i couldnt wait to get home, needless to say i,ll be straight back in the gym tomorrow, the " old mans interests " are going to have to wait a while id rather die doing what i love than live doing something that bores me to tears In all fairness im sure its a great game once your into it.....just dont think im quite ready yet.....anyone want some golf gear

To me last night showed the absolute high and absolute low of boxing and competetive sport in general. Audley Harrison will have to live with that for the rest of his life, the trouble is he has no competetive edge to him whatsoever and will probably not feel the shame and embarrassment you or i would. He was so fearful of being hit he point blank refused to take his hands away from his face and engage in a fight. On the total opposite end of the scale the Pacquiao/Margarito fight was a true " fight " between 2 talented, skilled and extremely game athletes.Pacquiao,s incredible skill was onl

What a bunch of big girls blouses ! Nothing wrong with a scrap at the footie, boys fight thats just life, schools fight other schools estates fight other estates men fight other men....it only gets stupid when knifes and other silly shit comes out.....unfortunately in todays dogooding society a boys natural urge to have a tear up is discouraged and he,s told to " talk about his problems " ...let boys be boys for f**k sake ! As for you divs on about how much you hate football....get a grip of yourself its THE most popular sport in world sport for a reason,so the reality is YOU ARE THE ODDBALLS

....trouble is i already do most of them, apart from the Lib Dems of course....im daft, but im not that daft ! Well,in for a penny in for a pound im doing 18 holes on sunday .....i tried a golf range today,f**k me im poor .....think im trying to smash the ball too hard its flying off in all directions at the moment so it could be a long day !!.....got a feeling i might be flogging a load of golf clubs monday morning. Cheers for your views boys

Over the last few years im being constantly nagged by friends and family into taking up a " sensible " interest !....Having led a very competetive life through the gyms/sport etc the old body is finally starting to let go a bit and the Mrs has just bought me a whole load of fancy golf equipment to try and encourage me into a slower paced life !..... So....not really knowing anybody who plays i wondered if any of you folk play and if so how do you find it,.... i cant see any appeal whatsoever apart from some nice scenery.....im shit hot on a putting green but that only lasts half hour, the t

For me a hardman is a man who earns an honest pound note and doesnt take the easy way out through crime.Ive seen single fathers raising kids while holding a job down and keeping a clean home etc that make you realise just what a hardman really is and makes you aware of just how inadequate you are and certainly far from being " hard ". Certainly does for me anyway.

Today you got Kenny Noye ...he will be in his early 70,s by the time he gets to spend his millions....for a smart guy he made the biggest f**k up any man could make !
-
Well said that man..... There must be a better way to kill time than pretending to be a foreign immigrant on an internet hunting website ...theres certainly some strange fuckers about !
-
Maybe foreign immigrants should really be concentrating on why their own country is going down the pan and why they have to ponce off other countries to get a decent life rather than slagging off the countries that provide for them !

Every man chooses his own path in life some walk the straight law abiding route some dont,as long as the ones who choose crime as a career dont sit whingeing and moaning about it when it go,s wrong then fair enough. To me theres far worse scum in our socieites doing far worse than lining their pockets at others expense......but unfortunately your average rapists, kiddy fiddlers and junkie pensioner beaters dont seem to be as hated as a few men fighting over money anymore
-
He,s 6 foot 5 odd and around 18 stone.....fighting a smaller man who dont take a great shot......thats a puncher enough ! I spoke with Tony Burns this morning who had Harrison at Repton as an amateur he reckons " if " Harrisons head is right and he maintains concentration he has a good chance.Id go along with that. Personally i hope Haye wins as it will be good for boxing but i dont think its as straight forward as some folk seem to think.
-
Being linked to the Krays back then was seen as a good career move if you was that way inclined,if you was a criminal from East London and you wasnt linked to the Krays you were seen as fair game simply because they wanted to control everything. If you was straight going people there was no problem my old dad was a fearless man who would take shit from no man but he never had any bother as the Krays were not interested in law abiding folk, infact from what the ol man said they was always generous, kind and helpful. Im no cheerleader for the Krays i just think its all been a bit overdone and exag

No never,i was a kid when they was around, but i trust the word of enough folk who did know them to be able to accept it wasnt all like its been portrayed through books etc.....Put it this way,id rather live in the Bethnal Green of the 60,s than the Bethnal Green of today, and 99% of Londoners would say the same so life couldnt have been that bad back then.
-
Quite possibly.....but like i said Harrison has only 1 real strength and Haye has only 1 real weakness......do the maths and its a recipe for disaster, particularly in heavyweight boxing.
-
Which book did you read !
-
For those of you lads giving Harrison no chance i,ll just remind you....it can often take 1 punch to change everything in heavyweight boxing. 2 important things to consider for those writing off Harrison.... 1.Harrison has only one real strength ( a powerful punch ) 2.Haye has only one real weakness ( a suspect chin ) Put them both together and it makes for an interesting scenario

If i didnt know the family id probably agree with you mate as its easy to see how it could look that way based on that article so im not trying to pull apart what your saying.Garys father is a friend from way back and like any father he went through a lot at the time this happened, nothing compared to the family who suffered the loss of course but a lot came out in the trial that would not have done if not for the fact that they were a boxing family. For a start it was tried at number 1 court of the Old Bailey !! ...it also came out that during this incident Gary was being attacked by 2 men,one

Shouldnt do yourself down like that mate i wouldnt say it was a below par Chelsea i actually thought they played ok they just couldnt break yous down thats all.Theres a lot to be said for doing the basics correctly and being together and thats what Liverpool did.The 3 or 4 world class players you have will be enough to secure top 7....i guess its just the few who are not really Liverpool quality thats going to stop you being top 4,this year anyway. Glad to see a big club beat a little club anyway
-
Gary was a good boxer, not great but good enough to compete at a high level his biggest struggle was with his weight he wasnt big enough for the heavyweight division but struggled at cruiserweight......he lost to a young David Haye but did beat a few notable names.....His troubles were about 5 years ago he,s in Highpoint in Suffolk at the moment but not due for release till 2016.....in fairness Gary wasnt my cuppa tea but he certainly wasnt a murderer yet thats what he was convicted of.....To be convicted of murder " intent to kill " has to be proven....Gary hit a mans head too hard, that head t

Im not really a rugby fan but seeing the haka is without doubt one of the icons in sport so i went to see the game yesterday,i found it a little disappointing how the english crowd sung over it,its obviously a tradition thats to be respected in my opinion not shouted down.As regards the game itself i didnt know what was going on half the time .....but im glad i went it was a big occasion and certainly a great stadium.I was surprised how different the crowd is to the football crowd,so much more passive and nowhere near as intense...i was amazed you could sit and have a beer while watching the
