I believe he also had traps set within his home and farm....had already stated he would " kill them pikeys " if they came back....and like you say shot them on the way out.....think he got 5 or 6 years....controversial subject but i dont think anybody deserves to die for robbing someones gaff....and certainly cant be compared to killing somebody who nonced your kids for example..... But like has been said....you have to be prepared to hold your hands up to whatever sentance comes your way.

Good to see another London club coming up....just as long as Millwall dont make it !!....I think the wealth of the club gives them a great chance of staying in the premiership although i see Ecclestone looks like he,s flogging his share...100 mill ! If my memory serves me correct that fight was at the Royal Albert Hall in 83,i cant remember the fight now but what with Honeyghan being a Mickey Duff man theres every chance it was a dubious decision I only remember it because there was 3 or 4 of our boys fighting on that bill...Mark Kaylor won a decision,Bruno got an early stoppage on cuts,little Tony Adams had a win,someone else but i forget now...all out of the Royal Oak in Canning Town. You will know more than most Wilf this area has a big boxing tradition and the York Hall is central to that,was fortunate enough to fight there several times and having spoken to many fighters everyone says the same....its the Madison Square garden of Europe ! For a relatively small venue nowhere comes close for history,atmosphere and boxing knowledge of the paying punters.I remember years ago Frank Bruno saying he was more nervous fighting at York Hall than he was at the MGN Grand Las Vegas Not sure about the Eubank/Stretch fight,you are probably right it does ring a bell......Eubanks grea

Honeyghan was a great character,he wasnt blessed with great boxing skills but he had bundles of energy and enthusiasm....he wasnt the most stable of chaps and had the attention span of a goldfish !....Mickey Duff his manager always said if he hadnt been such a good fighter he would have washed his hands of him as he was such a pain in the arse....Lloyd had a genuine dislike/rivalry with an American Marlon Starling...it wasnt just hype it was genuine hatred....sadly when they fought Starling battered him knocked him down about 5 times and stopped him around the third or fourth round.....it was

Most " proper gyms " ( spit and sawdust establishments ) dont have music....music,even loud talking in some gyms is a strict no no..... Unless of course its one of these trendy social gathering place type gyms.

I deserted London a long time ago dont worry about that son......i live in an idylic country village surrounded by beauty.....does that make me any less pissed off...no it doesnt,thats called pride in your country and your area.....id give everything i have to be back in that shithole but i refuse to be a foreigner in my own area....and the reality you dont seem to understand is some of us dont have a spare 50 years to dedicate to the task.....for some of us its too late to start doing the pride and glory bit ! Never been a fan of dog shows personally....i dont need another man to tell me i have a good dog....or a bad one...and would get no pride in somebody telling me my dog looks pretty. However,i can see why some folk would see it as a good little gathering of likeminded people.....my view is as long as you dont take them too serious there ok if thats your thing....if there not your thing then what do you care The only shows i would start jumping up and down about are the kc shows as they are a basic abuse of dogs and dog breeds.

My guess is you dont need an awful lot of knowledge to work in their fish departments....i find it quite funny when they try giving folk advice who have forgot more about aquatics than they will ever know....their advice on stocking levels is basically 1 inch of fish per gallon of water.....regardless of species !....which equates to roughly 3 x 4 inch fish in a 60 litre tank.....prats.

goldfish are coldwater fish,cherry barbs are tropical ...... As regards pets at home they are pathetic,took my pals daughter to buy her a small starter fish tank they wanted name,address and 20 questions.....but was still willing to allow me to purchase the tank and fish on the same day !

Wrong ! ....though he did SAY his religious beliefs forbade him to fight he had already failed the writing and spelling tests 3 years earlier meaning he couldnt be drafted anyway,a few years later when the tests were revised he was classified A1 and eligible.....it was only then he came up with the " i got no quarrel with them viet cong " and " war is only declared by Allah " quotes.....he had already refused to be drafted 3 years earlier nothing to do with religion,it was only on Elijah Muhammeds advice that he came out with all the stuff he did as he understood the mass of controversy and
