Burn the Koran: get 70 days in jail. Burn a poppy, get a £50 fine
gnasher16 replied to judge2010's topic in General Talk
Ali was hated amongst the top knobs within boxing who were white yes,he was certainly not the most hated man on the planet thats just being silly. He went to prison for absolutely nothing to do with religion....he wouldnt serve within the armed forces plain and simple. You also seem to neglect the fact that the heavyweight champion of the world is possibly the most prestigious and famous title in world sport.....to compare the power that dictates to the power 9 or 10 chaps off the huntinglife website forum have is.................actually forget it,you carry on ol son. -

Kyle....with all due respect can you not see the naivety in what you are saying.....the likes of Ghandi and Muhammed Ali were world figures NOT normal human beings the same as me and you,Ali was the most famous athlete in the history of sport !!....Muhammed Ali saying what he has to say in front of a worldwide media is somewhat different to me,Bill,Bob and Dave saying what we have to say to our local mp in a typed letter !! As for not worrying about being pc,they didnt have to....but these are different times mate,in todays times Ali would have been arrested and imprisoned for promoting ra -
TAKEN !!!....I,ll even give you 3/1 odds seeing as i know how your gonna get loads of offers now .......oh hang on thats the ploy to get the highest offer aint it,your a clever man Stan just dangle a carrot and let it sway Well there you go my offers 3/1 they wont.

Far be it from me to get in a tangle between arguing northerners........but are you Mancs not in the slightest teeny weeny bit worried about Chelsea sneaking up on the outside ?....If Arsenal take points off Utd and Chelsea beat Utd you got to make Chelsea favorites.....not too outlandish a thought i wouldnt say,i might even have a sneaky little bet on them.

Yep x2..whats the plan then Kyle ?.....the only thing i could think of is whingeing and moaning on a hunting website....come on chum point us in the right direction -
Too many to list but one that springs to mind was back as a youngster when the violent genes were first coming into play ...a lad pulled out a stanley knife and started waving it about saying he was going to do this and that, soppy nuts me did the rambo bit and walked towards him giving it the " come on then stick it in me " carry on .....took my eye off him for a tiny split second only to look up and see him legging it away and claret literally pumping out of my inner right forearm,i just stood their with my mouth open like a complete dick, ended up in Whipps Cross Hospital with a blood tra

My opinion is when you are relying on your skills for the survival and day to day living of yourself and family.....rather than using your skills as either a job or a hobby, those skills are tweaked to a far higher degree.....also as with many other skills.....what is learned from experience and passed down from generation to generation is usually better than what is learned from books or courses. I make no claims of any great hunting prowess and certainly wouldnt stand a chance of surviving if " it was for real " ....hence,watching and learning from the type of programs you mention i find a

i see....ok well errrr......bye .... That,ll teach me not to get involved in these sort of threads

Had it taken any more than 2 words i probably wouldnt have....but yes point taken my apologies. Funny stuff you lads get up to on here Incidentally....tb25 are you a bandit ? only your profile says male but you then state chris is your ex boyfriend...each to their own just didnt know if it was a mistake or not.

Its actually a Latvian licence he is boxing under as the bbboc refused him a licence after the Chisora fight.....i speak regularly with a lot of folk in the sport at all levels and because Danny is such a nice guy theres a genuine worry he could end up getting hurt....the bbboc is one of the strictest board of controls in world boxing, the fact he has gone to Latvia to continue in the sport he loves indicates to me the downfall of his career,he never really had anyone to guide him,Jim Mcdonnel was a great motivator and conditioner but no trainer has ever got to grips with Danny as a character.

Seemed like a nice family, well raised daughters.....tragic way to die when he had already beat cancer. Scummy little c**ts,had he aggressively gone at them with a hammer they most likely would have legged it.....the fact he was a nice fella who just wanted to vent his anger cost him his life.....bullies of the worst kind. Hopefully the family can move on.

In fairness to Mark he went on a good run after that loss beating Derek Mcafferty twice before losing to Sprott so id be willing to believe he was carrying an injury into that fight as its a fight he was expected to win. In my opinion Danny Williams was one of the biggest wastes of talent ive seen in recent years he will look back in years to come and have so many " if onlys "....very talented boxer who punched correctly, could take a good shot, knew his way around the ring.......but was far too complicated as a character to ever fully commit to the dedication the sport requires....shame as

Thats just the nature of competetive sport mate, nobody or nothing go,s 100% right all of the time......to think otherwise is just naive....or possibly a little spoilt just because it " usually does " go right Its the big club mentality...you are shocked when it go,s wrong for your club Im shocked when it go,s right for my club

You are clearly an intelligent chap.....use that intelligence for one minute and think about something..... Do you really think those brave men who fought and died for this country would have done so if they knew they was fighting to protect a muslims rights to burn a poppy ?......What % of those brave men do you think would do the same all over again if they knew then what they know now about what they was fighting for and where it would end up......because if its not a very high % then what a waste of good men !! -
Not to be a dick mate but this sort of comment always makes me laugh...... So what do you think his reasons were then ? He didnt want to win the fa cup,he doesnt know what he,s doing,or he just doesnt have the clubs best interests at heart ? The mans possibly the greatest manager in the history of the sport in England who are we as mere supporters to second guess a man who has forgot more about the game than we will ever know......im not getting at you i just think its a spoilt mentality some of the more succesful clubs have when it dont go there way.

So are you saying that 20 stone man should be legally entitled to give you what you deserve ? Because if not it would be fair to say you are using the law to suit yourself......i mean, how many of these pricks would be burning poppies if they knew we could legally stamp all over their face every time they did so....and that is exactly whats likely to happen if i burn the koran in the heart of Bangladesh as i simply wont recieve the protection they recieve here. As regards common sense and decency...our government has no common sense and these muslims have no decency ...worse or better ? -
...Marks a good boy, used to have the Prince of Wales in Walthamstow....he,s probably best known for his fight with Danny Williams you might remember it when Dannys shoulder poppped out and he won it one handed....exciting fight that was. Ask him what his biggest claim to fame is i guarentee he,ll say beating Joe Bugners son,can you believe that ! He,s had some success in the mma game over the last few years,he was a talented lad could certainly deliver a punch correctly he was unlucky not to go further than he did.

This is a perfect example of how arse upwards our country has become....ok if they want to burn the poppy in their own country fair do,s go ahead.....but dont burn the poppy in our country in front of our eyes, just the same as i wouldnt go to a muslim country and burn the koran in front of their eyes even though i might burn it here at home..... Now if i burn a koran here in England and a muslim sees me then whos in the wrong place at the wrong time me or him !!.....this country is becoming totally reversed to what most human beings worldwide would regard as common sense. -
I dont think he necessarily wanted a way out.....but sometimes when a fighter can take a creditable or controversial out in a fight,he actually gains more than he looses, its happened many times.....lets say it went on and the second half of the fight continued the same way as the first,Mccloskey loses convincingly in a 120-108 shut out and its goodbye Mccloskey nice knowing you.....as it was Mccolskey leaves the fight with more questions than answers....and a fair shout at a return in a fight he was clearly losing. That type of head clash he would barely of felt i believe the ref/doc stopp

Baz was it packed out or not ? i was on the verge of going myself till i saw the undercard wasnt all that....the MEN usually makes for a good atmosphere as they have the space to do all the fireworks and razzamataz ....if its atmosphere you want nothing in my opinion comes close in England to the York Hall Bethnal Green your right on top of the ring even from the balconies it feels like your in the ring.

Hilarious !!

Dont agree with what, did you see Mccloskey protesting to the doc and ref,i didnt...i think he saw it as a creditable out he knew he had lost everything, only he knew what he had left in the tank, the fact he wasnt trying to convince the ref and doc he was ok is maybe a good indicator......the fact both Mccloskey and his corner became irate after the event is par for the course. I agree Khan should be aiming higher, this was a voluntary defence he neednt have taken.I cant see Khan getting past Bradley at this stage, and certainly not moving up just yet....maybe it was just an awkward southpaw but
