Thought they would get back in.......result if your a Celtic fan, must be a touch embarrassing though.
-
I think it looks rough.....whats all the orange, purple and green shit round the edge, looks like a kids been playing with crayons...........but if your happy with it dont matter what anyone thinks............ That one of the sooty whoever it is looks even more ridiculous.......just looks like someones slapped a photograph on their back !......I think a portrait can sometimes look too accurate to be a nice tat........but what would i know,i like tattoos just not on myself
-
Only had this conversation the other day....some of the names these days ...especially for boys,i can see some of them growing up with good nicknames just to disguise the stupidity of their real name ! I like the old traditional boys names, still plenty of Jack,Charlie,Tommy and Bills round this way

I reckon Moyes could be the next Arsenal manager myself.....they,re no strangers to Jock managers and their last one wasnt too bad .....most Arsenal fans i know would take him at the moment. Good club Everton im amazed none of these billionaire foreigners have snapped them up.

There's lots of factors involved with drink but the main one is how quickly the alcohol gets into your blood stream. The quicker it goes in, the bigger the effect. They reckon that it acts by lowering your inhibitions and brings out a side of your character that you would normally keep in check. So someone who would normally never act on the private thoughts of whacking someone who annoyed them and appeared to be the most placid bloke in the world, could act on those thoughts if their inhibitions were lowered enough by drinking fast on an empty stomach, for example. It also clouds your judgeme

Shame about Parker eh mate...but it was always gonna happen.........im well happy with todays turn out,David Bentleys a fine player and the kid Lansbury from Arsenal will fit in nicely......only loan deals but will be useful additions in this league

Paolo had apparently told him he wanted him in the next day for extra running because his fitness was poor and the player threw a strop
-
I know your a fan of Paolo...i am as well.......this cracked me up when i heard it this morning .......he aint changed the boy, even as a manager, good on him hahaha

Is there any scientific evidence that says alcohol actually does make some folk aggressive ?....or is it simply that some folk get brave with beer in them...... Never really understood that one... By the way ive not drunk beer since i was a kid just the odd glass of wine.

As regards schooling/introducing young dogs its not popular thought in todays times as we tend to look at dogs like they are robots.....but im of the opinion you can put a dog back by even allowing him to watch an experienced dog......i believe a good dogman will have studied and know the workings of his dogs mind better than the dog knows himself even as a youngster.....all dogs are different some need gentle coaxing along others can be thrown in at the deep end,the psycological part to working dogs is something i find fascinating and i dont believe you can school no 2 dogs the same.......som

Not to poke my nose in lads but i agree with Sky to an extent......in my opinion it depends on the the nature of a dog as an individual Wilf.......some young dogs are happy to take a back seat and never quite push their chest right out with an older more experienced dog by their side.....others will go at it with even more conviction simpy because theres another dog with them.....its a fine line with no set rules you just have to treat every dog as an individual in my opinion

Oh my mistake...im sure Carr had him down though at some stage.....I only really keep an eye on the youngsters round my area so theres probably better prospects round the country im not aware of....but theres a kid Chris Evangelou at light welter whos coming along nicely still on the 6 rounders,Darren Barkers obviously going places,i like the look of those Walsh boys they have a great attitude to the game......but my loyalties are with a pal of mines son by the name Billy Morgan at lightweight....he might not hit hard enough to go all the way but he,s giving it his best. That lad Quigg is out
-
If you remember Oba Carr you,ll probably remember Jimmy Paul out of the same gym ?.....Looked like he couldnt break a crisp packet but boy could he fight......didnt Oba Carr beat Trinidad,i know he had him down at least.....
-
So i have .......cant get my nut round this new board i never even saw the little red envelope thing in the top corner ......anyway,back at you pal.
-
Molina fought some great names....Mosley,DelaHoya,Medina,Taylor,Lopez,Juan Laporte........never embarrassed by any of them and beat a few......good fighter Molina.
-
Not quite sure why your being a dick to me....but if id have wanted to,i would have by now mate
-
Totally agree.......if the fella didnt breed the dog then its no shame on him it didnt turn out....the only shame on him is talking up an unproven dog which is a completely different thing to the excitable anticipation of bringing on a young dog. The nature of genetics dictates that some dogs are going to be poor examples regardless of how you raise em all you can do is your best if it dont work out get rid and start again.......thats what makes raising pups for work a hard thing sometimes but thats life and without honesty you have nothing.
-
Bloody disgusting if you ask me.....supposed to be indoors every night paying his debt to society and instead he,s out with his mates getting legless
-
Its those exact styles that make me believe just how far short Tyson would have fell against those fighters........obviously size is an issue when comparing to fighters of the past and you just have to be sensible.....for me a 14 stone Marciano would have totally overwhelmed a 14 stone Tyson....as an example.....but as you say it makes for interesting talking points.
-
In the gym where was you
-
Ive always felt Liston/Tyson would have been a great match up,as would Tyson against Shavers or Lyle etc...though i dont think he,d have beaten any of them....Louis would have made him look stupid,Walcott would have broken him up inside,Frazier would have had him on the back foot which Tyson just couldnt fight from,Holmes would have battered him,he wouldnt have been able to get round Foremans jab,Dempsey would have been too tenacious for him.....Jack Johnson and Ali would have played with him for as long or as little as they wanted....the list go,s on and on............Marciano was a far super

I remember that fight well Stig Sibson just never got into the fight he was the stronger man and harder puncher but Hagler stayed on the outside and picked him off with ease......i seem to remember there had been a freak snowstorm in Massachusets that year and Sibson couldnt get out of his room for the week before the fight......thats as good excuse as any Hope he,s doing well these days he,s from my time and was always well respected down these parts.....i still dont think he beat our Mark Kaylor but as they say...." he got the decision "

I wasnt around in the 40,s and 50,s either whats that got to do with anything......best fighters that ever lived.....means best fighters that ever lived, and they were your words. Tyson was the best for a couple of years during probably the worst era of heavyweight boxing in history.....make all the excuses for him you like when 2 top notch heavyweights came along he was beaten easily by both of them.......In any other era than the one he fought in Tyson would possibly not have won a world title at all.....he didnt hit anywhere near as hard as Earnie Shavers and he never won a world title.

I was originally replying to the above Marshman.......i think you came in after..............nice to hear your thoughts anyway chief
